I still use your DND notebook for my games. I changed it a bit but there's a lot of very valuable info and tables in there!

I don't do surveys. But I am pleased to see that you're getting back on the horse. I think you'd have value to add to things, as you did back in the day (still feels like yesterday, but it was a different age in terms of internet discussion of ttrpgs), if you showed us to do things instead of told us. Kind of like how you showed us world building in a very direct way while everyone else was lazy and just told us generalities. Whatever it is you do, you're a treasure, man, and YT is almost too good for you in lots of ways.

Anybody know a good way for someone in London to find a serious in person game for someone (me) who is a noob but serious about getting into D&D? I've read through the Player's Handbook, I've created characters on DND Beyond, I've watched several live plays (not just Critical Role :-P) and have played through several D&D based videogames. So I'm new but I want to pick it up honestly

The best place to start would probably be to head to your closest local game store. Odds are very good there will be groups looking for players there. If not, then ask around the people you know; you'd be surprised how many people actually really want to give it a go or already play. You may end up needing to step into the DM role for this though. If you have no luck with in person games, there are tons of ways to find online games (I've got a couple different videos talking about it). But any table would be lucky to have someone so eager who's actually read the book!

Ask at work, amico. I've got nine players in my current game and six of them are current or former coworkers. People who want to play are all around! They're just looking for people to play with -- just like you.
