​@@johnlove2954yeah that's what i concluded when i take a deep look at reality, there must be a creator therefore there are moral absolutes, you look at reality and determine life came from non-life. We all make truth claims and society as a whole has decided that a creator is the most plausible explanation and you atheist can't come to terms with that. Maybe try harder and make people believe on your beliefs but see you can't, because atheism is for the non rational who are a minority in society.

The world we presently live in is truly nothing more than to get as much as we can, and the one individual, the one Group, or Top Kingdom, HAS WON! But what is it we have won, if we are a part of one of these? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, because the greatest question mankind has, is one question of two opposites: 1/ Why is it regardless how much we have or have not, so few are filled with absolute happiness? 2/ Why is it, we have within us the ability to be healthy, strong, and very happy; however, why is it none of these things we recognize as so amazing, abide but for a short moment, and then we begin to prepare for the enemy of death for all! In my short life, I am well able to ascertain, IF THERE IS NO CREATOR, and we humans have nothing but this conundrum of life, always ending in death, then LIFE ITSELF is not a true friend to any of us! Non-existence makes more sense, unless there is a Higher Order Which has the reason for this human ethical dilemma set down, so there is for those who walk even as the Messiah walked in character, a FAR GREATER ORDER OF EXISTENCE, given unto all of those who walk allowing the Messiah Yahushua to abide within our Body Temples, guiding us through ALL THINGS that would block our way unto this greater order of existence, as He was the only Perfect Human, Who taught us, we must believe He is indeed our Saviour unto that amazing Place of Deliverance from the pain of a life with only sadness and death! This is MY REALITY, and I share it with others daily wherever I go, with much success, and too, sadly, much indifference to that which for me, is my Greatest Dream! If you seek to be happier than you have ever before been, ask Messiah Yahushua to show you HIS WAY to a HOME we can only from this view point, adamantly pray for, until we are led there, by Him Who showed us The Way to arrive there together with HIM!

"Life Comes From Life" is one off those typical arguments that seem to make sense at first sight but really do not hold up to any scrutiny. First: there is no consensus of what 'life' actually is. no strict definition. This leads to the problem that for every exemple given there can be counterarguments by shifting the properties used to define it. It is an intuitive statement but based on nothing in any scientific sense. It thrives on the uselessness of 'life' as a property that certain things have and others don't.

Of course there is an objective definition for what life is, and even if there weren't, that would not have any bearing on the fact that life comes from life. Counterarguments against that fact given by means of shifting definitions are clearly invalid. You have failed to provide evidence for your assertion that the statement "life comes from life" could somehow not be based on science -- in fact, it is. Your final sentence makes no sense -- is English not your first language?

I tend to agree with you, it seems to Cliffe there can only be 2 options, either God created us in his image ( which conjurs up images of a human formed God complete with all our bad evolutionary designs), or that we evolved from pond scum. As I understand it, we don't yet know for certain what sparked life into being or how exactly it came about. I wonder if Cliffe thinks we came about 'pre-formed' as homo sapiens. The 'pond scum' argument seems very disingenuous to the wonder of evolution.
