The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

Cliff you're awesome. A good book that debunks these contemporary false dichotomies is "Reinventing Jesus: How Contemporary Skeptics Miss the Real Jesus and Mislead Popular Culture' by Ed Komoszewski and others. I studied this book for my Biblical and Theology degree and it debunks the Jesus Seminar, DaVinci Code, and how contemporary skeptics steal Christian terms to create false parallels between Christ and religions prior to Christ. The 13-point parallel theory is so misrepresented it is scary. There are absolutely no grounding for these parallels. Jesus is LORD. GOD BLESS YOU CLIFF!

the book i recommended also teaches you how we know we have the NT they wrote originally, oral tradition and their memorizing culture, Criteria for authenticity, the quantity and quality of textual variants, myths about manuscripts, the range of canon, forgeries, Jesus outside the NT, and of course all the false parallels that contemporary skeptics use to mislead others. I understand your point, but you have to admit regional demographics overwhelmingly dictate what your religion will be. Don’t get me wrong, I am a Christian, but I find this is something that hardcore fundamentalist tend to gloss over. Not to mention there are also Christians that have converted to Hindu or Muslim. One way! What lots of people (even pastors) don't (yet) understand. God created us according to His own image and likeness. Godly. Mankind/the first Adam fell. The image of God in man got lost. The holy blood is in place, the Holy Spirit is here to give us understanding, power and transform us back to origin. Not to be debated about, but to be embraced and be-come. So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand. Hence the divine healing miracles we experience. God manifested in Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall of Adam. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after in Gen 1. The image we lost in the fall of man. The image that can be freely restored by Christ's blood and Holy Spirit working IN us. What a plan. What a solution. What a love. What a God. Jesus is amazing. It is the ultimate conclusion of the word and plan of God. God came full circle. He Himself stooped down from glory to restore us back to original created value: Christlikeness. Walking in divine healing power and unselfish love. Jesus, born of the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God. The "Son" of God, the incarnated word, God in the flesh. But if something is true, it should stand up to rigorous questioning, would you agree with that? eg: as an example, I watched that Jan 6th insurrection on the US capitol recently, it seemed patently clear that Trump fired up his base to not accept the result of a perfectly legitimate election, they've not found any credible evidence of mass fraud in the way that Trump was claiming. All of his claims were thrown out in court. You have to ask yourself what would Trump gain from overturning that election?, well, quite a lot, he has a long list of court cases which would see him prosecuted if found guilty, but, if he remains as President, he is immune from prosecution. So it was massively crucial to him that he won that election. I think to most rational people can see why he did what he did, and was even prepared to use force to get his way. He was like a cornered rat on a sinking ship.

It hasn't been debunked. Specific details have been debunked, but the fact remains that religions and mythology (the same thing as far as I'm concerned) which are older than Christianity contain many parallels in their stories with the stories in the Bible.

Yeah. Too bad the video ended there. However, having listened to Cliffe for many years, his point would likely have been that the overwhelming historical evidence is that Jesus did physically / bodily rise from the dead, but there is no way to show, historically, that Muhammed spiritually rose to Heaven. In fact, the resurrection of Jesus is one of the most attested events from ancient history. Even non-Christian scholars agree on this. There is just too much historical evidence to have much doubt.

He changed himself by virtue of his own will and the difference being that time he accepted a better reason for change. Grace from god? He might’ve thought so but that doesn’t change the fact HE made himself change. The WILL to change came from himself. Every choice people make comes from themselves. There may be good or bad reasons and consequences may be good or bad, they all come from the individual will to act. The religious will often metaphorically twist that into a supernatural concept such as “god’s grace” but it in fact is not. It is the independent will of people acting on their own. Find it very common with the religious taking natural phenomena and attaching some supernatural mysticism to it as reinforcement of their supernatural beliefs.

If you haven't experienced the supernatural power of God in your life you may have doubts about Christianity. Creation if viewed form the correct perspective one would realize that creation was a supernatural event brought about by a supernatural Creator. The evidence for Jesus exists the disciples live by the faith they had working miracles and preaching the gospel it's the only reason Christianity flourished in the 1st century inspite of all the oppression that Christians faced. Every prediction in the bible has been fulfilled and is still being fulfilled today if that is not evidence enough for believing in the Christian faith then what else is there. Many of us have been spoilt by man's vain philosophies and blinded by our own short sightedness. The Love of God is real when we allow it into our lives it's transforming that all that matters. Obedience is better that sacrifice. I am the way the truth and the life.
