I love how people start getting all up set by him answering the questions they ask! HA HA HA. He has yet to be stumped. People think because he says "I don't know" They won or something. Well they don't know why they are living, yet he can't say he does not know why God does what he does? I will pray for these people. They are all special to God. Even thought they don't know him.

I havent heard men referred to as "Ministers" in decades- I know this actually took place decades ago so it makes sense, but that was an awesome bit of nostalgia there:). I love Cliffe and Stuart and watch these videos most days. Thanks guys, for your hard work!

Dear athiests, God did indeed come and reveal Himself to us 2000 years ago....and even before that as well!!!! He made Himself known by name and spoke with many as well as had them follow Him in the desert. Take a closer look at the entire Bible and check out how many times and in how many different ways that God has revealed Himself to his creation, and us; being how we are🙄 just acted in foolish, prideful, arrogant, and cruel ways and took His presence for granted. Let's face it....our minds can handle understand much at times, but our messed up heart condition just keeps distorting our way to God through our ungodly attitude. We're just so carnal in our flesh... and we're all in desparate need of a Savior. Just face it.

for atheists life is ultimately pointless. the onlything seperating you from non-existence is time. At a future point in time you will not exist to remember your life or any meaning you had in it. Value of life is associated with a person being conscious and alive to experience life. If at a future point this consciousness ceases to exist then your human value/dignity goes along with it. IF you have no value in the future then why should you have value now. No eternalness equates no human worth

that depends. if they've committed evil towards you it will take distance and time. God can take that hate for you but how or when I can't know. 1st step is asking God/Abba Father to take it (the hate) from you. Jesus is Lord and He loves you!

My brother was supposed to die when he was about 7 due to an illness the doctors could not fix. We found a naturalpathist and she made a huge difference, but my brother also had a spiritual encounter and after that his illness receeded and he is now a healthy adult. However he struggles being confident in God. Time passes and we as imperfect humans are prone to doubt. Just because you have a religious experience does not mean you will ever doubt again. It means you were lucky enough to experience something most people never have the opportunity to experience until the end. But to generalize like that is kinda odd. Everyone doubts, no human is perfect.

I like cliff, he is brilliant in what he does, but I'm gonna have to disagree on some of his points: first of all, he needs to speak for himself. If he has doubts, he cannot speak for everybody. God is very clear if you doubt you can never please him! You can't have doubt and believe in him at the same time. I know for a fact that God is real because I developed a relationship with him, whichis very strong, after I accepted Jesus Christ. When I ever did have unbelief, that is because I am immature, and I lack of how much I know of the things of God, and his word, which is the Bible.

Just because your brain chemistry gives you a " bad" sensation that does not make anything right or wrong in and by it self. Without God that badness is reduced to subjective emotion and nothing else. Take God out of life´s equation and everything falls apart and loses it´s true value.

The kid clearly said it's because of his evolutionary instincts, and that brain activity can be observed and demonstrates that feelings are indeed very likely to be chemical and electrical. He has a good point! And an evidence based point! It is not an argument to just contradict him and say those feelings are intangible. HE JUST EXPLAINED IT! THEY'RE NOT INTANGIBLE, CLIFFE! For the love of sanity listen to someone else without just trying to work out how to trip them up. He was right here - logically he's right and running rings round you but you will never concede a point- even when you've clearly lost. It's pathetic to watch a man your age squirming to find a way through an argument posed by someone half your age. And the other kid DOES NOT HAVE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH AN ALTERNATIVE TO BELIEVING IN GOD OR THE EVIDENCE FOR IT. Maybe the point is that there is no alternative and that there shouldn't and needn't be an alternative to convincing yourself of a wishful fairytale. Meaning can and does exist in life without the need for a god or belief in a god to validate it. I've seen so many students successfully argue this point with you but you just continue to insist that you are convinced there's no meaning without god. Well you cannot and have not ever successfully and logically argued that point. Just saying stuff in an over dramatic tone and posing like you're in a time out with your team mates or something is not good enough for students with a good grasp of logic.

Do chemicals and electrical activity cause feelings? Or do you feelings cause chemical & electrical activity? Why is it people who feel emotions that don’t make sense are said to have brain chemical issues? If someone is attacking you, does your emotional reaction cause your adrenaline to pump? Or does your adrenaline pump from an automatic body detection of threat which then lets you know to feel scared/angry?
@mikerussell2590

love is not a chemical or a feeling. so what is love? Hollywood has zero idea, look at their lives. I'm not giving you my definition, just read Jesus's words regarding love. it'll be easy and take about 10 minutes of your time. and 1 of the most important things one can ever study.
@Adeybwoy
@Adeybwoy 4 ай бұрын
@@mikerussell2590. You say love is not a chemical or a feeling like those are facts. And you then immediately move on to ask 'so what is it?'. But your initial assertions are just that - assertions. How do you know love is not a result of chemicals? You're dismissing the idea before even considering it or the evidence. Neuroscientists will tell you that love is very likely a feeling that arises from a particular balance of chemicals in the brain. They have studied this a great deal and their findings are fascinating. Are you aware of these studies and this well documented science? I am well aware of what Jesus is supposed to have said about love, and what Shakespeare said, and many other poets and philosophers too. I would rather place my trust in what experts in the area of neuroscience say and can demonstrate with repeatable experiments than trust in ancient myths, religious texts and romantic poetry and philosophy. Cliffe loves to ignore the science that is inconvenient to his narrative, which is why he shuts people down when they start to make too much sense. He hates the idea that love could possibly be reduced to a mixture of chemicals in the brain. So he belittles this idea without studying it and dismisses it because it's uncomfortable for him. Do yourself a favour and read up on the scientific studies of love and other emotions. The idea of god being love and representing pure love is just subjective wishful thinking. No one has ever successfully demonstrated that a god exists, let alone that he/she/it is also love itself and the source of where we get our feelings of love from. It's pure conjecture to say God is love and the weakest of arguments when put against the scientific findings in this area.
