These two looks were giving me HUGE summer vibes!!! 🏖️ (haha I know you don't like beaches but it makes me think of summer!) That first look with those lashes was smoldering, how I'd imagine a sunset walk on the beach 😊 And that second look was a party on your eyes! Loved how that yellow and that blue combined to make such a fun green! Tropical indeed 🦜🌴 Spring is just starting here in Canada - the buds are finally visible on the trees!

🌻 I hate fireworks. They are only cute for a second, and the “pay off” is frightened animals, neighbors with PTSD being upset, babies being woken up and scared...not worth it. With that rant off my chest (lol), love this series! GMG formula is so lovely but I only have Vintage Rose - this one just had too many browns that I knew I wouldn’t use. Look 1 is so cute tho! Love that hot neon coral pinky kinda color in your crease!

Both looks are so pretty, but I love the simplicity of look two since I like to sleep in as late as possible so quick looks are always great for me lol! Fireworks make me die inside a little because I work in the cleaning department at an amusement park, so as Im watching them, I know I have to clean up every single shell and all the gun powder when its done in the dark, which is just as fun as it sounds lol. Also those lashes are beautiful!

2 totally cute looks - and so different .... aarrrgh, hard to choose a favorite. I love Give Me Glow (I have Juicy Olive, some singles, and just ordered Vintage Rose). Annette's Makeup Corner where I live people have fireworks all year round. It’s never constant but it’s at totally sporadic and random times. I’m over it lol it’s unnecessary pollution and endangers animals on the ground and in the air.

Both looks were stunning!! I think because I am rarely in the mood, when I do decide to go bronzy, it brings me a kind of accomplished happiness. I love this palette!! I think I’ve only used it three or four times ... I hate fireworks and I hate summer. Heat makes me miserable. 🕷 And I hate spiders, which tend to come out in droves during the summer.

I love all my villagers except for Hamlet the hamster. He’s a jock and I like the jocks but I already have one I love so Hamlet just feels unnecessary. My favorites are Antonio the anteater, TuTu the polar bear, and Sherb the goat. Ooh yeah I used to like fireworks but since we adopted our nervous dog I’m annoyed w them bc my dog gets so scared :( Love look 2! I will try Give Me Glow in a few months w the Christmas Morning! 🍉

I’ve had my eye on this palette since they started repromoting it. I just don’t need all of those bronzes and browns. Those lashes look awesome. And I really love the first look. I ended up doing a green look today after seeing the thumbnail. So glad that it is may, but there is no end in sight in Maryland. I thought I had covid yesterday and almost went and got myself tested. Then I realized I had forgot to take all of my meds the night before. I am loving seeing the old palettes and the more looks. I love peach snowcone as a blush! I don’t have this palette, I wish the neutrals in there were purples instead. I don’t know if that makes it less unique, but that’s what I want it to be. I love the second look though, I agree it makes me think of a tropical cocktail 🍹. I got real excited about that orange/peachy highlighter from Nomad, but I saw Annette put it on and it wasnt light enough to show up on her and her skin tone is closer to mine 😩. One day I will have totally orange cheekbones. One day. As far a quarantine goes I’m getting tired of the monotony of not being able to have goals since everything is shut down. I heard my state is still on the stay at home order until July 6 😕. We might have soft openings for things this month, but we will see. I hope May is a better month for you! Everyone does have bad days, you aren’t alone, just don’t be afraid to do whatever you gotta do to take care of yourself and stay sane!

beautbean yeah that seems super weird. It might even be a lighting thing considering the formula, so it’s a good thing I can see multiple people try products out! Thanks for showing it in your video and giving your two cents. I might eventually get it anyway and if it doesn’t work I’ll layer it with other highlighters that are so light I don’t can only wear in the winter. I’ve never layered a darker highlight with a less dense brush over a lighter one that’s more concentrated so maybe I’ll find out what that looks like and still get an orange/peachy tone. 🤷‍♀️

Ooooooh, that second look!!! Old palettes are the best because people have seen them and maybe played with/swatched them, so we have a frame of reference. I really, really hope that trend stays when COVID is just an unpleasant memory we bore neighborhood kids with. And I kind of agree on fireworks but kind of not. I grew up in DC (NOT Bethesda, NOT Alexandria...DC. 202 and no Senator, thanks), so the 4th of July A Capitol Fourth was always my "meh, normal" fireworks display. Apparently, it's not normal, so all other professional shows are a letdown. However -- especially after a beer or many -- amateur, "is it even legal for you to try and set that off?", "JAYSUS, child, you are gonna burn down the whole county!" fireworks in country friends' front yards? MAGIC. Pure, unadulterated, mouth open, eyes like saucers, this is what I missed as a child in the city magic. But there's no in between, which is weird. Cannons and 40 mil in equipment or $40 and a 40 of Schlitz, but nothing in between. (I know you don't like the beach, so I spared you the sharks and fish. Here's summer: the ice cream truck and sunblock. 🍧🧴)

I like the first look best but both are amazing! I am getting a Give Me Glow palette this year no matter what! I really want to try them after hearing you talk about them so much. I don't plan to spend a lot of money on palettes this year because this is supposed to come back in the Fall so I need to save my money. I don't like fireworks as well. My poor doggy Gigi gets freaked out starting in mid June until early August because I live in Indianapolis and the people here always start fireworks early and end late. Last year some people were playing with them until September.

I didn’t get new horizons until like two weeks ago so I played city folk and I had Mott and Patty in my town. Patty’s cool and I’ve grown to like Mott I think he has like a little bit of a nerd vibe even though he’s a jock. I only have six villagers rn but I have Flo (penguin) and Kody (blue cub) as my starting villagers and then I got Sandy (a normal ostrich), Deli (a lazy monkey), Maddie (a peppy dog), and Lucha (a smug bird). I’m pretty happy with them and Flo is my favorite so far! Never had Pekoe but she’s so valid! And Cranston looks so funny I would love him lol. 🐠☀️

I'm right there with you I'm alright with things not opening right away here in PA but omg I miss my job too, I work at a dog groomer bathing them and its seriously the best job I've ever had i LOVE dogs n its just such a fun place to work, my co-workers are awesome n I love my boss.... MOTD actually sent me their eye brush set like a year and a half ago, they are a vegas based brand which is probably why they found me lol. The quality is great, but I never got along with the shapes of them, (whos surprised, im so picky with brushes 😂) so I unfortunately didnt use them a lot and gave them away instead. The owner is really sweet too

My family loves fireworks, but mostly bc we have good memories surrounding them, as my youngest son's birthday is July 3rd. Until he was about four or five, he actually thought the 4th of July fireworks were for him 🤣. This palette in the new packaging has me super tempted, maybe along w the chili palette too, not that I need them AT ALL. The thing that bothers me about this palette and others with this design, is the shades look like a box of Christmas ornaments to me, with those little open space at tops. So I'm loving the new packaging they are doing.

I'm personally not drawn to the palette as a whole but I would love to have some shades as singles. I never shopped from Give me Glow but I want their products so badly. Their singles give me life. Sadly, their prices + international shipping + customs prevent me from purchasing from them and I don't know if I ever will. I just don't feel like jumping through burning hoops just to have some makeup.

Beautbean: - yeah, we have some ugly people, but it's kind of the point for them to be ugly - Me: *from the other room* Whoa, wow, that seems really mean, she's not usually harsh like tha - wait, is this about Animal Crossing? Is this an Animal Crossing thing? Loved the green look, the lid is so pretty! I don't think I'm going to spring for the entire palette, but I would like to pick up some of the colors in it as singles, especially Summer Fling and Brazilian Bikini. And I'm definitely a person that likes to see looks using older makeup. Honestly, it sometimes feels like kind of a bummer to get a new palette and never see anyone using it after about a month because you're expected to just move on to the next thing.

Looks like I'm still gonna be stuck at home for the next 12 weeks since I fell and broke my ankle/leg 2 days ago and had surgery yesterday. So there goes my summer. 🧚🏻 it was interesting to see the difference with not using the glitter primer under the shimmer! I have both the Sugarpill glosses because they look so pretty on you, I was not disappointed, I Love them. my hair is looking similar to yours, my dark hair coming in but mine is faded lavender - thinking about keeping the dark roots awhile

All of my friends are playing Animal Crossing right now. I know nothing about it but it sounds cute! Fireworks are pretty to look at, but I hate when people set them off outside of a proper show. It's just annoying and my Mom's dog hates it, I hate seeing her shake and hide :( I love both looks so much! 🌴
