I'm a 35 year old man now with 2 kids of my own & still his music brings back memories of being a kid and blocking stuff out with his tunes on full blast. Crazy to think luther recorded his tunes in the USA and there was this scrawny 8 year old kid in manchester uk playing his tunes in his room loud enough to block out the shouting.

I remember seeing Luther at Manchester Apollo back in the 80's and him opening up with this song. Someone threw a towel on his head whilst he was in mid song and he nearly walked. Luckily he resumed and gave a faultless performance. I'm now 54 and seen countless artists in venues large and small. However no other singer or band has ever been his equal and probably never will. I feel very fortunate to have experienced such an amazing concert. RIP Luther
