We lost him to yo-yo dieting. His doctor begged him to stop it was hard on his body. I loved him miss him. I am 70 years old and there will never be another Luther. A massive stroke took him. In this video I don’t think he looks healthy. I love a teddy bear of a man.😞😞❤️❤️

I was at this rescheduled concert and it has stuck with me all these years as simply the best concert I have ever been at. If some of you think his voice sounds a little croaky - that’s because he was recovering from a throat infection - in fact he came on stage, started talking in a croaky voice - everyone was like “oh no”, then he just grinned - only kidding, he says....then kicked off a very memorable night

I saw him mid-70s in Cleveland, Ohio. To say his concert was memorable is an understatement. The showmanship of this man and his entourage has only been matched by Isaac Hayes. I truly miss Luther and Isaac. Very few today can match the performances of these gentlemen.

Every time I listen to Luther i get chills his voice is so captivating and I’m very much a man but he taps into my emotional soul and moves me to tears say what you want but no one has reached that level of emotion to so many truly so amazing !!
