The only “backfire” that’s going on is on reporters and the media with the huge majority of the public (UK and US) sounding off on them for their terrible (bullying) attacks on C who has never put a fight wrong and who is “trying” to recover from surgery as she very respectfully asked to be able to do in “private” but most of your colleagues haven’t let that happen. The public has enough sense to see how ridiculous this is (other than H and M supporters). The UK people have nothing to get over or forgive W and C for. I think most people feel that way over there and good on them ! H and M would love nothing more than to see W and C being negatively received and would be okay if Charles and W had issues flare up between them. That’s terrible enough without media joining in on that !!! I hope the media has learned from the backlash to leave Princess C alone !!! I’m from the US but I hope the UK continues to stand up for C and continue to shout out … “ leave our princess alone” !!!!

Also I had two major abdominal surgeries right around PC’s age. Stayed in hospital as long as they let me. Cleared from work four weeks with a healing time, they said of a good three months. I wasn’t able to walk for long periods of time due to the process of healing. Just let her be. People these days want everything right now. No. You can’t have it. Back off. Get some exercise. Leave it. Go away.

It's strange that minor editing can break a trust. Everybody edits or put filters on most of their photos so there's really nothing to it. The Princess of Wales never lied or complained in an interview or accused anyone. This edit will never break my trust for her.

I am in US and are disgusted with the behavior of the Sussex's. Princess Catherine's behavior has been perfect. But I do believe the King needs to take drastic action against them and stop their errosion of the Monarchy and the both need to hire better, more professional PR staff that is used to dealing with modern social media and get ahead of Harry and Megan's constant bad mouthing of them. Hire better people, or better agencies, just like Megan did.

I think the photo was released purely for Mother’s Day which has been the routine for years. I certainly do not think the intention was to ease speculation on ‘where’s Kate’. The media are making this more of an issue than the public who most likely think ‘so what’, we all tweak photos if we know how to . The public understands the Princess needs time to recuperate and this intense speculation is not helping her mental wellbeing. She has a tough job when she returns and needs to be 100%.

I wish a photographer would sell this picture and people who support Catherine could buy it. I'd buy it. The children look beautiful, Catherine is beautiful, and I don't care about her zipper, or Charlotte's sleeve. I also prefer the leaves on the tree to bare branches. And shame on all broadcasters who took this up, including you Kinsey.
