looks like a great set up to me. impressed with the holding zero. I usually have good luck with ones i use on a pic rail by marking them in 2-3 locations with a grey sharpie just for reference points, I've also had good luck with products from Midwest Industries.

It really is a great mount, I got one a while back and had it on an old wasr10 it held 0 for me just fine as well, I then upgraded to an m70 and it lives on that now. That scope they sent you seems like it is also a pretty good unit as well, makes a blind man almost accurate Lol. Have a good one brother see you on the next one.

Your first shots were your best shots. My pistol has a mount and so holding zero without the whole base would have been a better test for me. I am thinking I need a red dot, though, for home defense.

Pretty slick Tools! I remember years ago I got a scope mount for my SKS that replaced the whole top of the rear receiver. It works, but just not as slick as this, being removable.

Good video Tools. Good looking rig you have there. Love to be able to shoot steel rather than these paper bullseye targets. Done get me wrong its good to be able to shoot small groups but what's the point in putting 10 rounds in the same hole all the time when you can hear that steel ring and watch it bounce around after impact. Got to love those slow-mo reverse boom boom targets. Be safe & ever vigilant.

Too bad mine doesn't have a provision for a side mounting optic. I would have to order a custom "pinned" dust cover, then go from there. Hard as hens teeth to find these days, but would love to have an optic in my milled version. I do like the compact scope with the features for the price.

@@brianhoxworth3881 Texasweaponsystems makes a great dust cover. It ain't cheap, but very robust and I may pick one up for the coming Holidays. Mine is milled and doesn't have a provision for a side mounted system.

@@RL-RL this replaces the trigger pins, so it can except a side mount. You then have a side scope mount with out riveting one in. It's pretty interesting.

I have an AK that’s been tricked out with a pic rail , Magpul stock, grip, and a red dot sight mounted on a pic rail. It’s very fast and accurate, not to mention fun to shoot.
