I wish the artifacts had been actual artifacts and not just character specific passives. Would have much preferred looking for Mjolnir, Odin's Spear, Hawkeye's Bow, Cap's Shield, The Infinity Stones, etc, especially since we farm them in timeline survival, the mode that's supposed to be about traveling different timelines. When we have 20-30, hell eventually we are going to have 50, 60, 100 character specific artifacts. At that point its going to be miserable looking for the one artifact I want. Let's be real, no one is putting Shang chi's artifact on Loki.

The passive is based on total instinct, so I don't think it matter right now. At least not until they possibly give each instinct a different purpose if they plan to do so

It's a huge downside because it's a stupid thing to make RNG. The artifact is character specific AND you can't upgrade the stars nor change the instinct by RNG, meaning if you're lucky enough to pull a 5 or 6☆, there's a 75% chance the instinct WON'T match. That's stupid and a huge downside.

Another thing I found out - the artifacts work like ISO , you can level them up like ISO ( not rank , but the +5 thing) BUT HERES THE TWIST , after you get to +5 , the succes rate ( yes there is a success rate ) goes down from 100% to 50%. That's right , the higher you go , the more gold it takes ( I've spent over 20 m on just artifacts since the update dropped ) and the success rate to enhance the artifact goes down. Also Idk if this is true , but I heard the success rate is worse if the rank goes up , a 6 star artifact has lower success rate than 3* , I'm not really sure abt this but that's what I've heard.

Here after watching moon bro's test on artifact.Here are some findings:- 1.So far they seem underwhelming or even decreasing the damage of characters. 2.They don't match chatacters instincts so you get half of other intinct stat. 3.They don't have ONE FIXED green text effect/character artifact. 4. You can't increase an artifacts star,but just enhance it(maybe upto lvl10) 5. After 5 lvl enhancement they stop you from going 100% to like 50% or 25%(GAMBLE IT BOYS)

Artifacts are a cool concept but man, the amount of shit to grind up is overwhelming. Gotta get Premium cards then craft those premium cards and reroll those cards to get pierce. Got to grind up Ctps, but only like 4 Ctps are viable, then you gotta reroll Ctps to get the best stats and then combine to try and get mightys/brilliants. Then you gotta get mythic urus and then combine them to get Odins Blessings and hope you get the right Odins Blessings. Then you gotta farm tier 3 mats every day for a month to have a chance to enough materials to get ONE tier 3 character. Now we gotta play timeline survival to get artifacts, but there are specific artifacts per character and those artifacts have a chance to drop from 3-6 quality. I know that for someone who has been playing for a while it’s just nice because it means new content, but with how long everything takes, for someone who hasn’t played everyday for 6 years, this shit is a lot.

100% agree. It's so bloated. We don't need another thing to think about when building characters, look at how much we have already: 1. Get the character 2. Get them to 6 stars 3. Get them to lvl 60 4. Upgrade all their skills to lvl 3, preferably lvl 6 5. Upgrade all their gear to 20 6. T2 them (it is at this point they actually become usable) 7. Reroll 4th gear stat 8. Give them an obelisk or ctp 9. Roll and give them an iso 8 set 10. Give them up to 20 Uru to cap remaining stats 11. If they have a uni change those uni option stats 12. Realize potential 13. Get them to lvl 70 13.5 awaken them 14 Get gears to 25 14.5 max awakening skill 15. T3 or transcend them 16. Type enhance them And now 17, artifacts

@@Desmond_Video_Discussions Not to mention the in between steps of, awakening all your iso's, getting all odins blessings, amplifing all uru slots, upgrading uniforms (which entails farming a ton of extra bios), and all the other stuff I listed and that is legitimately over 25 steps... per CHARCTER!! With over 200 charcters you just don't have a chance to catch up anymore (sure some characters are only tier 2, but eventually the won't be). I love the Spidey verse, but I am fucked if I waste time and resources on someone like Spiderman 2099 because 1. He's a tier 2 unit 2. He isn't meta 3.If I use those materials on him, I will not be getting the "meta" charcters and fall behind in stuff like WBL, Timeline, Squad Battle, etc. which means I will get materials slower! If these step weren't so tedious and grindy, I would be able to use charcters I WANT to use and only lose a slight bit of time, but be able to build up the charcters I HAVE to use as well. 25 steps is too many

As a community we wanted more game Modes to use our characters in. I was thinking another GBR? A new WB? But this timeline survival which I thought was a decent farm for T3 materials if not a tad disappointing, changing to now only incorporate artifacts - some of which have skills which should be included in a 1700 uniform - has been sad to see. Purposely nurfing uniforms to make us grind for more ish in a below bar shadlowland copy and paste is not what I had in mind. But oh well.

I tested out Mephisto with a 3 star artifact in world boss legend My result -. My Mephisto cleared stage 9 knull *32 seconds SLOWER* with the artifact. I did not know if this is a bug , so I went over to the forums , and yeah the same thing is happening to a bunch of other players. It's either bugged , or the system is worse than we thought and we actually haven't understood it perfectly yet. I have not gotten ant special artifact yet , ( I've cleared stage 6 TLS at least twice everyday ) so I went ahead and searched up if any content creators have done the same . Moonbro came in clutch with the Sharon Rodgers testing , and I was not impressed. His Sharon Rodgers was like 1 second faster with her special artifact. Perhaps that's because he was using a three star artifact , but logically most people have lower ranked artifacts than higher , so I find the argument of " better rank better damage " to be obsolete , for now. I am not impressed with the new system at all , it seems like it not only increases your damage , but can ALSO decrease your damage like if you equip a wrong card and loose all attack stats in your cards.

The systems good for you bcoz you have a lot of Gold. Generally we get 2 t3s and awaken a month and sometimes a bad character get a game changer uni, then we want to t3 that one too. So we have to farm for gold again n again and everyday. If somebody would actually calculate the gold, and artifact drop I could bet this is not player friendly. Sure they have 6* artifacts but don't expect them to drop like Rain. Knowing netmarble their drop rate is probably going to be 0.000123% or something which would discourage a lot of players. And also whales can gather a lot of That Essence thing either straight up buying or crunching massive normal artifacts they gonna have. F2p and low spender still gonna struggle. Obviously anybody can get them if they gonna hv 7 day login event or something with 6* exclusive artifact at the 7th day.

TLS is just a huge sink of Gold (The Artifacts just vost way too much gold to buy in shop and only thing you can spend your Survival Tokens is on buying Temporal Energy so they are basically useless other than that)... Mostly designed for Veterans(Who have most characters build and don't have anything to invest their Gold in) and Hardcore players who got substantial amount of their daily time to invest on the game!

Trading systems open things up for hackers and that makes the company liable for lost materials and stuff so it opens the biggest can of worms ever. I used to wish for trading but then my daughters Roblox account got hacked and someone took all her stuff from multiple games by trading that stuff to other people. Which to the game, it looks legit so those people got to keep all that stuff then I had to play email tag for a week to get some Robux in place of the thousands of dollars of rare items that were taken….imagine that on this game with perfect brilliant ctps, equipped perfect comic cards, and perfect 6* artifacts

You’re crazy if you think Lunas Artifact passive is trash. It’s 50% added cold damage based on her cold resist. My luna snows cold resistant is 89%. Thats 44.5% cold damage increase without adding the concentration side of it. Next to wolverine I’d say she has the best artifact in the game currently. At least attack increase wise she has the best artifact.

This system would be more interesting to me if the drop rates for character specific or even 3 or 4 star generic artifacts weren't so low. 6* is the highest available but since the system started I've been attempting to be farm like crazy and have only got 3 artifacts of 3* rarity. The value of these is hampered by the fact it's so crazy difficult to get any of worthwhile value since all the drops are RNG dependent. Plus you could pull the right artifact for a character and the instinct bonus being for the wrong type of instinct for the character The problem with these systems right on release is that Netmarble while doing much better this year than before still has a poor track record of implementing poor starts of new game modes and systems and taking months to improve them to make it worthwhile. The WBL rewards, Squad Battle, and crafting systems are all evidence of this. They all started being trash and almost to the point of being completely worthless to farm. Then after a few months they became better once Netmarble realized the errors and improved the reward systems and options for them all. This is another one of those poor starts to a system. Horrible drop rates, timeline survival still not being up to snuff to improve it, poor returns on the dismantle process, and RNG dependent even when you built up decent celestial essence. I've spent 1000 celestial essence on the 10 pull boxes and only got 1 and 2 stars to show for it. Hours of farming and time to yield minimal to nonexistent results. And they have the boxes to get guaranteed 4* but it requires a different resource I haven't figured out yet how to even earn

I slightly disagree with whales being not ahead. We still don't know the drop rate for the artifacts from the box. As far as I know, there still hasn't been any report of 5 star or 6 star artifacts dropping. The high level ones may be just a 'mythical' item that you may get once or twice a year. I wouldn't be surprised if the drop chance of a 6 start artifact has a similar drop chance of reforged CTP from WBL. In which case, most of us will probably have to settle for a 3 or 4 star version of the artifact, unless something changes. Might be worthwhile to just horde the Celestial Essences for now.

Hopefully all those celestial cubes pay off some day, cuz right now its a whole bunch of level 1 artifacts... Also, no on should have inventory problems anymore since this update. My favorite part of this update is converting cards/obelisks.

I think they back tracked a lot with this mode since its introduction.. Like it needs a 3rd revision which combines stuff from both previous tries... The artifact farming is great but shop now is pointless... Not being able to buy t2/3 matts is a big loose as now 1 week in i have 4k tokens and have bought everything from the shop ever time i find one

What if there's a new passive for sentry? Sentry passive Artifact- Insta kill the opposing members(activation rate when hp below 10%) Doom passive artifact- Destroy the gamemode by unlocking t3 skill(depending on mobs..... Activation rate 50% when debuffed) Meta breaking artifacts xD
