Absolutely love the uncertainty the bag full of cube brings to the end of the game. Also how you're incentivized to go up on the tracks you're trailing in as the rewards actually improve instead of weaken.

I think it's really clever how effort expended in one project (e.g., the laser) makes the following project that much easier.

I like the semi-co-op nature of the game that doesn’t force you to stab everyone else in the back to eventually win the game. That, and the theme is really interesting as well.

I think all of the mechanics in the game and the way they work together is very interesting and exciting! On top of that the graphic design is beautiful, and I love space themes. Very cool that it was your neighbour Chris and that you got to experience a lot of the development process, keep up that amazing videos! 😁

To keep this as PG as possible, what I love about this game is that it's like Caligula the board game... a breeding games/mechanisms I love from Planet Unknown/Hidden Ark (tech/income tracks), Lost Ruins of Arnak (worker placement/deck building), LoW/Abomination (first player action) and others that ultimately led to a long 'Ancestree' to How to Save A World. Therefore, the true way to How to Save a World is through raw love and passion! PS Burnt Island really knows how powerful a quote they used from you. I mean, $70/$99 pledge and you the slayer of FOMO, the king of cheap is quoted as an 'instaback' for this one! 😲 It does look super cool, but I was also kinda hoping you'd talk me out of backing this one! Here's me putting all my eggs into the 'giveaway basket!' 🤞

I saw you and your "friend" on the Rahdo R&R show talking about this game and I had to come over to your channel to learn more about the game. I find the idea of it being a deck building game which doesn't necessarily require you to build up a deck really interesting. You guys had commented that it's a legit strategy to buy only a few cards and focus your energies elsewhere. It's really cool that it sounds like there are multiple paths to victory. However the thing that really excites me is that you get your whole deck at the start of your turn and there's no card limit! That just sounds so extravagant and I can't wait to play it and find out just what that feels like!

This game looks great! Love me a game that mixes just the right amount of too many mechanics, and the theme of competing to be the one to save the world when it should be a cooperative endeavour is *chef's kiss* in this day and age. Whole heartedly after hearing you gush about the game (but still earnestly attempt to critique and state little things that might need adjusting or didn’t vibe perfectly with you) I’m very much looking forward to trying this game out. What I most love is the almost perfect marriage of the mechanics and theme of the game (I;m a big sci-if fan so that’s kind of a bias) but the asymmetry, hand management, resources, tracks, and the variable countdown timer (literal asteroid) all mold so well with the theme and intricately weave together that make this game seem exciting to play! 🎉

How cool that you've been able to see all the changes as the game develops. Dummy player on the track to tighten the 2-player game is a good change. I actually implement that on Terra Mystica to improve the 2-player experience. But I also like how you can use the tags on the cards to pay for track advancement at the expense of the card that you had to invest in (I foresee some tough decisions there). And having multiple worker placement locations that you can't just go to anytime you want adds another layer of planning. It looks like a great time! Tell your friend (er...I mean neighbor) congrats on the game and getting picked up by a deluxe publisher!

For me the most interesting part is the suspense on how fast the astroid will hit the planet. Especially if you're the person to pull the last astroid cube to end the game. That will bring a lot of laughter and jesting to that player in my group 🤣 And I'm glad it is a race against the clock without the use of any timer app.

I am intrigued by the way you build your hand as well as the fusion between worker placement and your action cards. The theme gave me some concerns but the game looks interesting. I always like to see more ways to increase randomness at setup or with end game goals/scoring, so I am hopeful they will add more buildings or other sets of action cards to spice up the decision making game to game. I love to support new designers.
