@@shination3846 Yeah it’s been happening to me for awhile. When I looked up the issue, it looks like there’s thousands of others with the same problem that dates back several years all the way till now. I’m surprised KZbin hasn’t done anything about it yet.

Thought I'd take another crack at leaving a comment. My favorite fishing memory is of the fluke fishing charter my dad took me on as a kid, off the Jersey Shore. All I ever seemed to catch were sea robins (nasty little things with a bite like a steel trap), but my dad was always so patient and encouraging. He passed away a long while ago, but I miss him and every day I have a new appreciation for the quiet, subtle way he showed his love. I want to share that with my own kids.

Always enjoy the videos, keep up the great work. Favorite fishing memory: My Dad would take me and my siblings to Cabrillo beach to fish we’re all the rocks are located. One time we we’re fishing and a big wave came in and took our lure box and cooler and left us with just our rods. We we’re scared but the memory stayed with us all the time. Dad took us to get burgers after. One of the best days from our childhood.

Some places along the road is free however if you park in their parking lots there is a fee. We did really well near the dam. I also float tubed near their boat docks and had a lot of success. Usually on stock day that area is prime. These 2 spots you can just park along the road for free.

I noticed in your video all the float tubers were all along that boui line by the docks is that the only place you can float tube or you can launch and float tube where you want?

@@aebuilders6321 no problem at all. yes it’s $10 to fish and if you want to launch out on the float tube it’s an additional $10. You can launch out anywhere around the lake. Usually on stock day all the tubers are along the bouy line. Good luck!

That happens to me all the time! You could be right next to someone that’s catching a lot and the fish just don’t find your bait. That’s when I start snooping to see what they are using 😆. If your snooping skills are good and you are doing everything right set up/bait wise then most cases the fish are just schooled up in that particular spot. Thanks for watching Ron! I hope they stick to the plan on reopening most lakes by sept 17th. Other than that I see some good sized fish coming out of the Bridgeport lakes like little Virginia, big Virginia and twin lakes in Bridgeport. Those lakes are still open. I believe the hours are one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. 🎣

Congrats on the baby! Love the vids! My favorite fishing memory was my first fish. It was over 20 years ago I was 7 or 8. I always went up to Mammoth but never had the patience to sit and fish with the family. One day we went to Owens River and fished the bridge. I was so distracted by the swallows making nests that I finally let my bait sit there for a while. It was the first time I hooked and baited my own line. I caught one that day. Not a lunker but I'll never forget it. Im already introducing my daughter to fishing. She's two but always says "fishing daddy!" and I take her out. @garrettlivingston

Favorite fishing memory was first time surf fishing. I really enjoy the beach so hitting up the surf made me fall in love with fishing. Casted out some lures with a buddy and within an hour of hitting up the surf, I caught a large halibut, not legal size but still quite large. Learned so much about the mechanics and proper basics of fishing which got me hooked. @truespinner

I was shocked when I looked back at my fishing memories that I could not believe how much time I spent fishing in my life. So to pick just one would be my first fishing trip with the whole family at Belmont pier in 1963 age 5, my Dad caught a BIG halibut, had an argument with the lady angler who claimed it was her fish as they tangled their lines, dad won and claimed the fish, he stuck his fingers in it's mouth to unhook it and got bit and bled real bad, we went home and I tried to revive the fish with the garden hose to no avail. My Mom cleaned it, cut it up and fried it up and all six of us had halibut for dinner that night. We still talk about that day and even the grand kids have picked up on that fish tale. Great footage. Yeah derby day was tough. My sister and I managed to get 3. My favorite memory was when my daughter (9), nephews ( 6 and 9), and son (15) caught like 17 trout at Clark park last year. First time for them catching trout. Good times. @hectormata20
