Hell yeah. Awesome. Growing up in Arrowbear we would ride our bikes up there (brutal) the ride back was amazing. Although green valley did not have trophy trout back then.

i was there 1st week of November and bite was slim to at best. they took nightcrawler though. I bet you were there during the weekday because it was packed on Saturday

Yes, you need a state fishing license and to pay their lake fees for fishing.

why are you fishing with bait if you plan on catch and release ? they swallow a lot of the bait and end up swimming off and Dieing .

If they are lipped... We take the hook out and release. If they are terminal they end up on the BBQ. 99% of the time the fish are releasable. Thanks for watching.

I noticed you catch and release, what type of hooks do you use? In my experience, it seems that 9 out of 10 times when using treble hooks they become too injured to survive. I've also used the standard J hook which does seem better for survival, but a lot of baits do not work with that hook.

Depends on what I'm using for bait. 90% of the time i'm using Mosquito hooks
