Ahhh perfect. Rainy Sunday afternoon in Melbourne, a spliff, cups of tea, and 800 tonnes of pure reggae soul coming through my speakers and monitor.

@muttilo Not a problem, brother. Do you play music? I have molded my drumming techniques from Horesy. I watched him so much that I taught myself how to play without a drum kit........Horse is a good teacher; he does not even have to say anything, Yah, know:-)

@muttilo --What up brother! The video seems to accredit Scratch with the down beat. Check out "Leroy 'horsemouth' Wallace warm-up and the movie "Rockers." He played with Burning Spear, the Gladiators, and many others (i.e. Inner Circle). What he does is after the one drop, he adds another beat in, sometimes on the snare, but much of the time with the tom. Although, he did work (and continues to work) with Scratch.

The "Rockers" riddim that is attributed to Scratch in this video is not the same "rockers" riddim that Leroy Wallace is accredited with--down beat.

at 4:47 he says "The music may have changed it's name from Rockstaedy to Ska to then to Reggae". Uhhh, shouldn't those 1st 2 be reversed as Ska came first?

Please does anybody know what is the song that's playing from 1:55 to about 2:26? I've been looking for it for years. Also, what is the name of the song that Toots and the Maytals are singing? I type in "Baby, baby, what wrong have I done you" trying to find the lyrics and nothing comes up.

the songs is Toots and The Maytals - Treating Me Bad
