Stumbled upon your video while checking reviews for these saddlebags, I’m planning to buy them from bikenbiker too for my 850 GS. The only drawback that I’ve heard is the clips are plastic and when broken would be difficult to replace. Is that true?

Yeah, we cant buy them separately, but they are strong enough to take certain amount of impact. But i am sure there will be jugad to use alternative if not from Givi 😃

Can the pillion sit comfortably?

yes. it may come in between while sitting like any other side pannier (if pillion is shorter), just have to learn how to avoid it. but once you sit on it it doesnt bother the pillion.

Hey how are the bags holding up in terms of quality and usability?

have been using since more than a year. so far no issues. One Bag's support pad what we get which goes and mount on the bike is little bent. otherwise no other issue. have ridden in heavy rains and nothing has happened.

When you park the bike with side stand and if your luggage is heavy then it tends lean more towards left due to gravity which causes the bag to bend little. Bag can be easily put on the bike and one key is enough for both bags. Both comes with locking mechanism as i have shown in the video.
