Love the Armadrillo idea, in fact you should more often consider the species native ecosystem. For example Waterhazard: Instead of turning a clam into a crab, draw from the fact that he needs to store and control water because it's a super limited resource on his homeworld and invert it to turn his water powers sand-based, give him a yellow/brown rocky shell and the ability to dry up everything he touches.

See the thing is, in the U.E.S it never confirms where the simulation takes place. Wether it’s on the native planet or not. I do consider ideas that fit environmentally first, but if I can’t develop it into a more solid/interesting concept, I just try to think up something for the individual itself and how to heighten their abilities.

I've been waiting for this episode a long time. Always found it a bit strange how the aliens who debuted in Ultimate Alien, never got a Ultimate Form themselves. I guess they didn't want to make their base transformations feel redundant, but in OV they should of had Albedo at least use an Ultimate of them. Especially Ultimate NRG against Atomix.

I liked his take on ultimate Waterhazard, Amfibian, and Armadillo but as for Ultimate Terraspin and NRG I was expecting Terraspin’s Ultimate to be heavily similar to Addwaitya minus the flaming head and uses mana to manipulate the surrounding air as for NRG I was exciting something like Ironman’s suit with the only trace of being he can’t leave his suit at all

I do agree with this ultimate transformation since if he can just make cannons for himself, I can see him gain the ability of flight again but without his usual flying abilities. Instead he can just make jet like vents molded from his back or feet to use while letting his own heat source to propel and rocket out from. Only the downside from this is that his armor will run down quicker, losing his defense. So he has to constantly eat or absorb metal into his metal like body now, such as him having to eat a nuclear plant to refuel his radiation supply.

Like I'm assuming that you meant that it's more of the stink arms situation where that ultimate nrg does get armor and/or flight "still" but he's not gonna be durable as much or that he's not gonna be as fast as he was without the armor.

For when we get to him, I had an idea for fast track: Physical appearance-wise, he's the same body-shape but with more dense fur throughout his body Basically, when he runs, he generates static electricity in his fur which he's able to discharge in short-range attacks (and the fact that it's short-range is made up for his super speed allowing him to get in close really easily) As for trade-offs, he can't really cross over bodies of water anymore (he still is physically capable of doing it but doing so would send cause electricity to be discharged in the water)

That’s a fun idea. Something I think could be cool is if not static electricity it could be cool if he stored kinetic energy I feel like. Maybe he could use this to help give him bursts of speed or increase the damage dealt by his physical attacks. I also kind of like the idea he could create an energy track he can run on as he calculates the quickest way to get to a point (maybe he could even build up energy on said track, or that’s how he does it). I would also like him to use the spikes on his arms as weapons, but I’m not sure if they should be anything special. As for trade offs, I’m not sure. Maybe he’s just a tiny bit weaker in his strength.

Dang! You were on FIRE with this one. Personally, the concept I found weakest by comparison was NRG's just because it kinda feels like a reskin of the metal volcano Ultimate HeatBlast you did, but it's still really cool. And the others are all awesome. My favorite is a toss up between Amphibian and Water Hazard but Ultimate Dewalt Armodrillo and Beyblade Terraspin are great, too.

I think my favorite new trait has to be Terraspin looking even more like a ufo while flying. My favorite of these boys is Armodrillo though. Power tool Dillon was already my second favorite of the Five, and I think his new powers are cooler than my favorite of the Five, that being NRG. NRG’s is still cool, it is just hard to beat double decker drill punches and outright becoming the drill that will pierce the heavens. NRG being so angry he fuses his suit with himself is a neat visual, and while the weapon arm shapeshifting does feel a bit similar to Crag Heatblast, I could imagine creative use of NRG’s newfound shapeshifting allowing him to maybe make arm cannons to fire his beams from too. Ampfibian’s effectively being a puppet master man-o’-war is pretty much what I was expecting, and the design is very nice. I really like the color choices, and it is probably the most visually appealing design to me this episode. And finally Water Hazard. The yeti crab hair is a very nice addition visually, and the ability to make boiling steam or ice armor over it is cool. The shapeshifting powers- oh my bad. Had to rewatch that part. The splitting ability is even cooler than I thought it was on first watch. A good use of base’s decoy eyes too.

Hrm. Well these all have interesting concepts so it is difficult for me to choose a favourite. I think my favourite will go to Terraspin. It is delightfully silly but still cool. Additionally, the idea of it losing the directional wind flow really gives it an alternate use case compared to its non ultimate form. Very neat. And for second, I am vibing with the arm abilities that Ultimate Armadrillo has. And the Gurren Lagann reference is really cool too. I like that you leaned into its more mechanical design. It helps keep the aliens varied. Awesome job on all of the new Ultimate Aliens!

First things first, I love this series. Watching it has helped inspire me to create my own Alien Shapeshifting hero, with the various powers given to the different Ultimate Aliens, giving me ideas for my own aliens, and how to balance them. So, thank you Ash for helping inspire myself and others. There was one Ultimate that I wasn't sure which direction you would take it, and that was Ultimate Terraspin. You are the first person I've seen to NOT give Ultimate Terraspin more abilities related to Mana. Is there a reason for that? You know, I think it would have been awesome if the introduction to these five had them becoming Ultimates due to the Ultimatrix malfunctioning. Allowing for Greg's ultimate form to have Elements of the Ultimate Andromeda Five in it. Which would have made him more of a threat to the heroes with how powerful he can be.

It looks like you had a bunch of different ideas for these aliens. Maybe because the Andromeda five are sentient inside the ultimatrix, they get to actively choose what course of evolution they end up with resulting in a different ultimate form each time Ben transforms

Either you phrase this incorrectly, or your unsure how these transformation actually work. Either ways, the Andromeda 5 are not a conscious existence within the Ultimatrix and the hyper evolve function is describe as putting the alien DNA in the worst case scenario for millions of years so its not really pick and choose your path.

i love all these new and re designs of the ultimate, its so nice to see people so passionate about a world/universe the as a kid i loved and now thanks to The Ink Tank i've managed to fall back into the fandom. Also i had an idea for all the aliens with 2 ultimate designs, does anyone remember digimon frontier? well for those who don't, in the series there is a mechanic called 'slide evolution' in which the characters could change their digimon form at will, for the aliens with 2 ultimates why not have a similar system, where ben can choose one to turn into and can then change between ultimate forms to gain an advantage, the drawback being that he would have to revert to the aliens original form before he can change alien, essentially when he's in ultimate form master control becomes locked until he reverts back
