Assalamu'ala'kum_ I spent few days with Tableeg_ they are great and kind people & I can realize why Islam means peace. their aim to change the people who claimed they are muslim but they don't pray and far way from sunnah. they always give reference Hadith while they make a statement from Quran, they always talked about Qurn, Sunnah and Iman. If I able to manage my time then surely going to work for Dawah In'sha'allah.

+MOHAMMED IRSHAD ok that is fine just don't use this hadith there are many other's hadith which is good.this book was written by one person so may be it's just error no one is perfect .and i don't think if what they are doing is shirkh some of them will die with kalimah laa ilaaha illallah.and really they are diying with shahaadat.so ask your self how someone is doing bida'a ,shirkh and his last kalaam is shahaada.and you have to know this effort alllah choose the person to work inside not all people.may allahmake easy for you to understand this effort.me especially my life change completly by tableeg jamat,before i was going to the night club,i have the girls friend every badthing i was doing and same time i was listning the oulaama in my locality,but i started to go out i stopped everything.so then after you told me what they are doing is wrong.thank you.

KHALED RIZVE it's not number of days BUT the course material they are teaching which is based on shirk aqeedah n concocted stories NOT mentioned in QURAN or authentic hadith books, moreover leaving one's home n family for months isn't ISLAMIC way coz ISLAM is to be practiced in REAL life and not in a controlled laboratory environment of tablighi people roaming around places NOT to forget neglecting their families n creating fitna at home while they roam around world!

nawazish khan at some extent you are right islam needs to be practice in real day to day life but where do you get the training you can't learn everything online. People like me who never went to islamic schools have enough time to go back to madrassa. Take it as like training period you get train and your practice like you go to schools get education and practice in the job. Same soldiers goes to academic training and apply the training in battle field. And lastly we muslim should more soft tolerant vigilant and willing to learn the right thing from where ever we can. KHALED RIZVE Also when going in jamaat people say oh people who go in tablighi don't havw suffient knowledge, you go there and do basic and you go into topics you have knowledge , if you give a six points bayaan you talk about what you know i.e Allah you can talk about Allah's creation and having firm belief in the kalimah , this isn't stuff that we're ignorant of, also when you go in jamaat it's mainly for yourself , to cut yourself off for period of time from the rat race of the world and be in the environment of the masjid, if someone goes to the pub or the nightclub or the work place or even at home you'll be affected by the environment that's create din those places , simlarly if you're in the masjid you'll be affected by the environment , a place where people are doing zkir rememberance of Allah, people are praying sallah, reading Quran etc, also we have to go to a meet the brothers on gusht who have no connection to the masjid because if you don't then they won't teach anything to their kids and they won't to their kids and eventually generations down the line that family would have come out of the fold of Islam, same in spain, was a muslim country for 800 years but no one made effort on each and they were kicked out of spain , my Dad went to Argentina venezula and brazil 40 days few years ago and there were so many people from spanish decent with names like Ibrahim but they had become christian, this brother ibrahim they met him and gave him dawah and his christian wife was in the background getting worried because they were giving dawah , because my dad and othersd in the jamaat were in sunnat clothing and were in jubbah , etc it remind Ibrahim of his Grandfather and he brought a photo of his grandfather in the arly 20 cenutry wearing and jubbah and Imama and was reading a massive Quran, what this shows is they the early generations were practicing but they didn't make effort on their kids and eventually their grandkids and great kids left the fold of Islam, 50 years ago my Dad told me in the uk forget 5 times salaat, forget taraweeh , forget jummah only some people use to come for Eid namaz and that was only after you said that there was food being served after the salaat, most people would say the reason we have come here is to work we don't have time to pray, that time there were a 2- 3 masjid but after making effort there around approx 5000 masjids in the uk today so really speaking the people who critize tablighi jamaat have no real idea what it's about, they go by what some celebrites sheikhs say like dr Bilal phillips and they think they no everything

Mashallah, a great explanation and advice, I changed myself because of this Tablighi jamaat movement. They do not say it's mandatory to go for 3, 40 or 120 days but yes they motivate you too much! however they also say working in your locality is greater work than going outside and working. They never deny to follow the Quran and authentic sunnah and even they encourage it. Why they follow one book - they don't have enough scholars (as most of the scholars thinks it's not worthy to join and roam around streets), they have compiled some hadees in a book called "Muntakhab Ahadees" which is more related to five pillars of Islam! which seems pretty easy to be followed and remembered by a layman! I don't go outside in jamaat but I work hard with them in my locality, I prefer Quran's tafseer and Muntakhab hadees and do not read "Fazaile amaal"!! and they are perfectly ok with it. So my suggestion for all of you, get connected with them, give your half-one hour daily, work in your family, locality and neighbourhood. Inshaallah, it will be considered as dawah!

aagree, the 3/10/40 day thing is just a mumber for practicality. people are more likely ot bee free on weekends (3) half terms school (10) and summer holidays etc. the 3 day thing comes from telling people its for the weekend riday evening to sunday evening when 99% of people are not workin gor in school , college etc. the 3 day thing is very misconscrewed. im an ex tablighee, their intentions are good, i learnt alot, but agree, need to focus alot on stronger hadeeth w

brothers who ask about tableeg jammat and who give answer for both i want to say that please try to understand the work of dawah in the name of "tableeg". the word "tableeg" given to this jamat is a misnomer -- means they are doing works which is not meant by the meaning of this word. in fact the work is to enhance, to improve, to renew or to rejuvenate the condition of imaan and yaqeen of one who goes to work with this jamat. i tell u brothers, this is the only haqq work by which one can raise the level of imaan and then try to practice islam after acquiring proper ileem from quraan and sahih hadis -- so all muslims of the world should join this work of dawah

I don't think advice someone to be regular in salat in congregation required scholar degree. And anywhere it is compulsory to spend 3 days all month, it's just optional and encouragement. 3 days, 4 month, 40 days are only programms to manage that effort of da'wa as there are programs to manage fikh teaching. Even sheick is following program to give da'wa on this huda channel, if there is no program it will be difficult to get a proper result and good effet. May Allah bless all of us

Number of days is just tarteeb for us to regularly take time out... Doing a 4,6,8 years degree in Islamic studies is not mentioned in Hadith, neither doing 5 Daily Salah in masjid using fixed timing through a calendar is mentioned in any Hadith.... It is just a Tarteeb Sunnah is that Nabi SAW sent out Sahaba for months of expeditions until the at the last Khutbah, where they were sent out for life... Now either we preach people to leave everything n go out to 4 corners of the world for life or at least request them to spare 10% of their time at least and go out It's not compulsory upon anyone to actually spend the exact number of prescribed days but it is just good to follow the tarteeb just like it's good to follow Salah timetable or study years at uni purely from management perspective

Usool of hadith says that any weak hadith can be used as fazaeel but not masail..Fazeel e amal has weak hadith thats why it is called 'Fazaeel e amal' not 'msail e amal'...

First he says that it is a duty of every Muslim, male or female to do dawah then he says only scholars should speak ..No doubt scholars can do excellent dawah coz of knowledge but what about the rest? Dawah is an obligation upon them too . This is why tablighi jamaat has 6 points which does not necessarily need a scholar to explain them.These are non disputable points on which even a layman can speak !

Sheikh it's not compulsory to go for only 3 days or 4 months specifically, not one day less or more, although it's have significance derived through Qyas, but point is it's Tarteeb, like in same way what we have inour madrasa n college n university, specific duration, 4 years course, 1 year course etc, it's for convenience, like if you are going in Jamat for 40days, so you have answer to your family, boss, or any authority that you will be back in 40days, so planned according to that, if you are non-specific no one knows when you will come back for other work as you have to make Balance in life, you have rights of Allah, family, n yourself, you have to learn your Deen at your home place from scholars, so that you can preach in khooroj while going in Jamat, so forth all other work, this was the sunnah of Sahaba , tabaiyeen for centuries. So please please for Allah's sake, if you have Ikhlas, you are on big authority, from where you can guide Ummat, consult Tableegh Jamat scholars, wherever is markaj or Delhi, India, for their work, methodology, etc any question regarding their work, (actually work of Nabi) consult them, ask them, I am getting doubt in this, without listening to third party, as Quran says conclusion If you listen anything, first investigate, then propagate. ZOHEB KHAN Prophet emerging from the clouds and touching the face and belly of a woman Fadhaa.il Durood, p.109, Incident no (Hikayat) - 46: "Haafidh Abu Na'eem reports from Sufyaan ath-Thawree that: One day I (Sufyaan) was going out when I saw a young man who recited the durood on every step. I asked him, "Does this deed of yours have any basis (or is it just your own action)?" He asked, "Who are you?" I replied, "I am Sufyaan." He then asked, "The Sufyaan of Iraq?" I replied, "Yes." He then asked, "What type of knowledge of Allaah do you have?" I replied, "He takes the night out of the day and day out of the night and creates the face of the infant in the womb." He replied, "Then you don't know anything." I then asked, "How do you know Allaah?, what is this durood of yours?" He replied, "I went along with my mother for Hajj and my mother died there, her face became black and her stomach swelled to which I realised that she had committed some very serious sin. I raised my hands to make du'aa to Allaah when I saw that from the direction of Hijaz a cloud appeared from which emerged a man. He placed his hand on my mother's face and it became enlightened and rubbed his hand over her stomach and the swelling disappeared. I asked him who he was who relieved my mother and I from our difficulties. He replied, "I am your Prophet Muhammad. I then requested him to advise me. He instructed me to send durood (salutations) on him on every step." What kind of a horrendous lie and insult is this to our beloved Prophet! Zakaria Kandalvi wants us to believe that the Messenger of Allaah is alive and goes around helping people. And what shameless lie he fabricated! The Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam), whose wife 'Aa.ishah described as being more shy than a veiled virgin, massages the face and stomach of women?! Astaghfirullah. I ask the scholars of Deobandh and the entire Tableeghi Jamaat: Has the rescue missions of the Prophet stopped or do they continue to this day. Why does he not come to the rescue of the Muslims of Kashmir, Palestine and Chechnya? I ask the Tableeghis that where was the Prophet when 'Umar was martyred, when 'Uthmaan was martyred and when 'Alee was martyred? Alas! My Muslim brother, do you see the lies and insults that are being thrown at the Messenger of Allaah in the name of love, in the name of service to Islaam. To such liars we only say that the one who intentionally forges a lie against the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) let him take his seat in the fire. And an evil abode indeed! But this is not the end of lies. Zakaria Kandalvi goes on to say that: 1) The Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) kisses an insane Soofi (Fadhaa.il Durood, Incident no - 42, p.102) 2) Muhammad (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) descends from the sky on a cloud with a piece of bread in his hand in order to feed his "pious followers." (Fadhaa.il Durood, Incident no - 48, p.110) 3) The Messenger of Allaah, the seal of the Prophets (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) plucks hair from his beard and gives it to a dying man in order to cure him. (Fadhaa.il Durood, p.110, incident no - 48) May Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) save us from fabricating such lies, insults and nonsense against the Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) and make us amongst the drinkers from the Haud (pool of) al-Kawthar. The brothers of TJ enforce the 3/40 day and 4 month method because of it's efficiency and the fact that it's an organized method as opposed to just going out for an arbitrary number days with no sound or set plan. That's why the Ulama within the work have emphasized a constant and consistent method whereby it is HIGHLY recommended to go out for 3 days every month, 40 days every year and 4 months in a lifetime at least, in order to remain steadfast in the effort of Da'wah. No Bid'ah here. :)

Surah Al-Qasas the name itself means (Stories), Surah Al-Kahf, Surah Yaseen, to name a few have beautiful stories in it and revealed to us and presented beautifully by Allah swt in truth. Allah swt says in Qur'an Qur'an 18:13 نَّحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ نَبَأَهُم بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ فِتْيَةٌ آمَنُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ وَزِدْنَاهُمْ هُدًى We narrate unto you (O Muhammad SAW) their story with truth: Truly! They were young men who believed in their Lord (Allah), and We increased them in guidance. Akhi, these stories have so much information and wisdom in them, we need to be able to find those jems in it and relate it to people. Like for instance.. There is a place on earth, its called Pompeii, an old roman empire. The people of this city are still frozen in time even today, however yeah they're dead. Now read Surah Yaseen and you will find a mention of city to which Allah swt sent not One but 3 messengers Qur'an 36:14 إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, "Indeed, we are messengers to you." Only one amongst the people of this town accepted the message and even he, the one person who accepted the message of Allah swt called the people towards Allah swt and the people ridiculed the messengers. So Allah swt sent them a punishment. Qur'an 36:29 إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُونَ It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished. If you look closely into this punishment, the azab which Allah swt sent to this town and the frozen people of the city pompeii, there is so much in common and makes a lot of sense. Allah swt knows best. Why do you think Allah swt has preserved those extinguished people? This is a fact we need to ponder upon. So many stories available from the Qur'an and why would anyone want to convey a WEAK AHADITH? WEAK is a word we should be careful about, it has chances that it may be perceived not to be TRUE. Allah swt knows best. We have to preach what is authentic and use it for dawah, rather use anything else. Isn't the word of Allah swt sufficient for dawah? We dont need sugar coated stories, weak ahadith to inspire us, and no matter you bring the most sugar coated story in this whole world, if Allah swt intends to send someone astray, you will find no Wali to guide him. Qur'an 18:17 وَتَرَى الشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت تَّزَاوَرُ عَن كَهْفِهِمْ ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا غَرَبَت تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَهُمْ فِي فَجْوَةٍ مِّنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ ۗ مَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ ۖ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ وَلِيًّا مُّرْشِدًا And you might have seen the sun, when it rose, declining to the right from their Cave, and when it set, turning away from them to the left, while they lay in the midst of the Cave. That is (one) of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, signs) of Allah. He whom Allah guides, is rightly guided; but he whom He sends astray, for him you will find no Wali (guiding friend) to lead him (to the right Path). Please guys, don't ignore the signs Allah swt shows you and dont be ignorant towards the truth. Our actions have consequences & our deen is truth and we need to convey it just like our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) did using truthful means. Qur'an 18:27 وَاتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِن كِتَابِ رَبِّكَ ۖ لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَلَن تَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِ مُلْتَحَدًا And recite what has been revealed to you (O Muhammad SAW) of the Book (the Quran) of your Lord (i.e. recite it, understand and follow its teachings and act on its orders and preach it to men). None can change His Words, and none will you find as a refuge other than Him. Qur'an 103 Surah Al-'Asr وَالْعَصْرِ By Al-'Asr (the time). إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ Verily! Man is in loss, إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.

@luckyjohn44u Islamically, we are encouraged to wear loose and modest dresses. So dresses that conceal better should definitely be encouraged. Most of the tablighi brothers in my area wear shalwar-kameez because of their Pakistani background. It does the job of concealing. I personally like the thobe better, so I choose to wear that. They didn't criticise me about not wearing shalwar-kameez.

Brothers should make sure that their wives and children are not neglected while they are away on tabligh. Many of the youth go astray when the father is absent for several months, and the wives struggle at home. Also, many who go on tabligh also sell alcohol in their store or restaurant. Take your religion seriously, don't make a mockery of Islam by living a double life. We can all support one another in faith without being divided. Women should also be allowed to use the masjid, something few masjids allow nowadays. Why do we neglect Muslim women and deny them their rights? Take the good and leave the bad so that we may all prosper.

First of all, I am not a sheikh. Tablighi Jamaat be like offering you a lot of delicious food that you will enjoy but unhealthy for you when you eat too much you'll be sick later and cause you death. Or they offers you a lot of sweets that you likes, when you have too much you gain diabetes later. If you go to a fast food restaurant like mcdonalds(as TJ), they offers you oily but yummy foods(six principles) and refreshing but sugary softdrinks(khurooj) in the menu, as they say "you lovin' it". They may be using "halal ingredient" i.e tawheed, salat, zikr, dawah(to muslims), sunnah, Qur'an, though its halal but the process of how they made of whats in their menus are actually dangerous for your health(nafsin/souls). Both Khurooj and 6 principles, though it was made from the same halal ingredients of the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) but they are not in the Prophet's Menu(teachings) i.e 5 pillars of Islam and 6 beliefs. Are TJ was not satisfied with the Prophet's(pbuh) Menu and do they they think they can make a better one that him(pbuh)?? May Allah protect us from this and guide us! Ameen...

the shahadah is a agreement based on certain principals the 1st is proclaiming it with your tongue (qawl) then accepting it with the heart (qalb) and finally applying it on your outward limb which is known as action (aml). All 3 practices need to be in Harmony with each other making sure they are bonded with each other known as a firm chain link (at-talaazum). As soon as you take out one link I.e tongue, heart or action.....u have broken the at-talaazum which would then lead to one failing to meet the Islamic criteria of becoming a Muslim. The 1st step however is the tongue qawl for you to cross the bridge and after that it will require some serious study of intellectual affirmation based on the Quran and sunnah...this is why the classical scholars have not been shy of giving takfir to anyone who chooses not to practice deen without action, tongue or heart It is absolutely essential that we apply Quran and authentic sunnah to answer our basic questions when it involves creed. If only this was studied as a basic principle in Islam we as Muslims would have never ended up in a dilemma looking to cult bidat practices like the tablighi jamaat for emotional guidance rather if we kept to our strict scrutiny of the Quran and sunnah we would had been natural intellects.

How many deep clear meanings? 40 days of thajjuth 40 days of 5 times salah at rakah 40 days straight hearing and learning about Allah prophet & companions 40 days pray 12 rakah of sunnah 40 days of dawah by yourself Back then prophet sent jamah but the days weren’t fixed, they were on purpose, once it’s done they return. Today we give 3 days in a month due to weekend off of 9-5 jobs & apply a day off at office. Back then shahbhas went to non muslims and said look at us and embrace islam, today can you and I use the same word? Whatever you learnt in 3 days you try to do it in rest of the 27 days & then again renew your Iman. And 40 days has brought many changes, like ibrahim (alai) was in fire for 40 days, younus (alai) was in whale’s belly for 40 days, personally idk of any hadith regarding you must go on 40 days, but when they both come out they were differently had a strong connect with Allah swt But the point is you should not seclude yourself with particular group, cuz Quran forbids who divides sects. So anyone with Quran & Sunnah I’ll be with them.

As the Shaikh said giving da'wa is mandatory on everyone according to his/her knowledge but they should be very very careful as what they are propogating, if you called people to the right thing there is a reward as long as people follow what you said and if you said something not authentic the it is vice versa, now the question of tablighi jamaat going out places and giving da'wa, ok they are calling people to good deeds like Praying Salat, doing Haj, Zakaat, Zikr etc. And you will find various books in Tablighi Nisaab they are Fazail-e-Aamal, Fazail-e-Darood, Fazail-e-Haj, Fazail-e-Sadaqaat, Fazail-e-Zikr but the main and most essential, in fact the basement of Iman without which the building of deeds could not stand "Tauheed" is missing there is no book called as Fazail-e-Tauheed and you will find contradiction in their sayings and what is written in their books what they orally reject is present in their books so the course material is the main thing, what are you presenting.

Try to understand about the time management .Tablighi joumaat does not consider 3days or 4 month is a part of Din but time spending is a part of Din but when we work in group for this time management is compulsory
