I wish the Easy Spanish team would redo this video to provide a more controlled progression of questions and answers, from simple to complex.It's essential to hear variation, but more repetition of the most common questions and answers plus progression into more complex and longer answers would be helpful. You have become much more skilled in pacing and editing as you've gained experience. It's good that your Spanish and English subtitles provide the necessary meaning--no need to take up time with explanations as so many videos do! Over all, you're doing a great job!

¡Hola, Juan y Baruch! Me encantan sus videos y los voy a recomendar a mis estudiantes. No soy oriunda de un país hispanohablante, entonces siempre trato de demostrar a mis clases buenos ejemplos de personas hablando español de varios paises. Las temas que han eligido son perfectas. En este video hay un problema pequeño con la traducción de la frase que contiene "vueltecita". Sugiero "Sure, from here after a short walk there's one right away". (or right after as you wrote) Gracias otra vez por sus esfuertos excelentes--vuelven mi trabajo mucho más sencillo!

In Spanish there are genders for nouns. For example he said "el Starbucks" who gets to decide whether its masculine or feminine?
@EdgarLopez-vk6fe6 жыл бұрын
This is something a little difficult for Sanish learners. As a general rule we can say that when the last syllable has a vowel "A" in it the noun is feminine. For example: La casa, la tienda, la hora, la taza, las medicinas, la cama, la comida, etc. There are many exceptions though: El agua, el mañana, el planeta, el azúcar, la canción, la fuente, la gente, la mujer. Some professions just take a feminine form by adding or changing an "A" at the end such as "doctora", "directora", "profesora", "maestra". secretaria. Others like "estudiante", "médico", "ingeniero" can be both masculine and feminine depending on whether it is a male or a female. "el/la estudiante", "el/la médico", "el/la ingeniero".

What exactly does “fijate” mean, and when would you use it?
@nesepo6 жыл бұрын
The verb "fijar" in this context means "look with atention". "Fíjate" is second person imperative. For example: -Fíjate. Primero da vuelta a la derecha en la esquina -Look. First turn right on the corner. You can say "¡Mira!" Is the same
