Patricia Sun, CEO of JLin Marketing
In the fourth episode of Giving Done Right season two, CEP’s Phil Buchanan and Grace Nicolette talk with Jeremy Lin, professional basketball player of ‘Linsanity’ fame, and Patricia Sun, CEO of JLin Marketing. Jeremy and Patricia discuss stewarding Jeremy’s platform for good, sustaining support for the AAPI community, and how to carve out one’s authentic path as a donor.
Guest Info
A Palo Alto native, Jeremy Lin is a nine-year NBA veteran, NBA Champion, and philanthropist. His rise to prominence spread like wildfire during February 2012, when he took over the starting point guard role for the New York Knicks and began one of the most improbable journeys sports has ever seen. Suddenly, everybody was following the inspiration of Lin that is forever known as “Linsanity.”
A Harvard University graduate, Lin helped pave the way for his Harvard team to become nationally-ranked for the first time in its history along with making their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1946. Lin has played with the Warriors, Knicks, Rockets, Lakers, Hornets, Nets, Hawks, and NBA Champion Raptors.
Patricia Sun is the CEO of JLIN Marketing and has led Jeremy Lin’s business and philanthropic efforts for the past eight years. She has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles and had plans to go into the health field when God led her to JLIN Marketing. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two children.
