Giving my disabled daughter a bath

How do you give Elin a bath? This question has been asked a few times so I thought I'd answer it. Elin has a bath chair lift that helps me get her into and out of the water without hurting my back. So here it is, finally, the vlog in which I am giving my disabled daughter a bath.
I'm a special needs mum vlogger in the UK with two daughters, one of whom is severely disabled. Elin is a girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she has a feeding tube, is a wheelchair user and as she can't use the toilet independently she is in a nappy / diaper.
Apart from cerebral palsy, Elin has complex medical needs and seizure disorder. She has tonic clonic, or grand mal seizures, partial focal seizures and absence seizures. She is on multiple medications every day, for her spastic muscles, for her reflux disorder and for her epilepsy. Elin is on a blended diet, which we give her through her feeding tube, and I share tips, how to and recipes.
On this channel I share our day to day life, our morning, feeding, medication and bedtime routines, feeding techniques, how Elin communicates, etc. I also showcase the relationship between Elin and her sister Alice, and how they play and interact with each other.

I work with a student who uses a wheelchair, has seizures and is non verbal like Arlin. She too loves when I sing. I sang some camp songs from my camp counsellor days and she was so happy. Music is magical.

Yeah you did, how is she? The melatonin is going pretty well, not perfect nights but better.

@@ParentXP they've prescribed piriton for two weeks, if that doesn't reset her internal clock they will consider melatonin but said they don't usually prescribe it. Shockingly we have a sleep clinic here again (it vanished for years). I know my daughter as you know yours and I'm not convinced whatsoever the piriton plan will work but as usual the game of jumping through hoops 🙄

I was thinking about the melatonin today. I occasionally take melatonin and think it's great but it obviously isn't a strong sleeping pill. But I think that the brain damage she has may mean that she doesn't produce signal substances as "normal". I know her body doesn't know how to relax, she's always really tense, her bowels move to slowly, etc, so why not hormones and signal substances?

It's a Kanjo, which is adult size. I'd have preferred a paediatric chair but the council wouldn't give us one.
