Hey Jess! Plant lover and previous Garden Nursery worker, love the plants you chose - just know that next time you transplant (switch it into a new pot) loosen up the roots a little bit so that the plant realizes it’s in a bigger container and not still in the shape of the old pot. Also you got this! To see if they need water check with your finger up to your knuckle if the soil feels damp don’t water as overwatering can cause root rot which will kill the plant. But if the soil feels dry, give it a good water till the soil feels damp. Hope that helps!

Also quick tip when transferring a plant, break up the roots at the very bottom to help them grow into the new soil 😊

Hi Jess we are big plant lovers in this house hold it’s how my boyfriend and I met lol. I totally understand that uncertainty when you buy a new plant they’re like babies and you wanna make sure you give them what they need lol, my advice to anyone bringing in new plants is right down the name and look up some KZbin videos on it. There are so many wonderful plant vlogs and fellow plant lovers who really make tons of videos on every plant you could think of. Hope you enjoy!

YES Jess, you had every right to be upset and to stand up for yourself. Sadly, there are people that don’t care who they hurt or what they have to do, just to get their own way. My dad used to tell me when I was growing up that some men will try to take advantage of a situation just because I’m a female. I never believed it since I grew up in a different time than him….then it happened! I’m not saying that’s what happened in your situation but it would have been interesting to see if he would have treated Gabe the same way he treated you.
