I love this. I'm a guy who loves home office videos, but men's setup videos usually sacrifice coziness for minimalism. This video hits the perfect balance of coziness without feeling as cluttered as other 'cozy' home offices☕

A little tip for anyone who wants to cable manage on their sit stand desk is to do the cable managing while the desk is in your standing position so you don't have to worry about guessing the length of the surge protector. Makes it super easy to achieve that one cable look.

I’ve been buying govee lights, lamps, strip lights, tube lights, even studio lights and was never happy with how they lit my room… So I watched ur vid and went to get a similar looking desk lightbar AND OH GOD, how fast I threw away everything else LOL. This works, omg this really works, I love how cozy it made my desk and how well comfortably lit it is now for me. THANK YOU I LOVE YOU

When I heard you talking about how having your own space to decorate as you please can give a placebo effect of feeling energized really resonated with me. As someone who also recently moved out of their parents house, having my own home (albeit a housemate is included) and a touch more independance really does wonders for your motivation. Here's to a good new year and a wonderful holidays full of the good things you've been manifesting. (And to those who haven't heard it today already, I'm proud of you for still being here

I moved into a new apartment this summer and my partner and I finally each have our own office (pandemic times were… a lot of adaptation at the start of confinement let’s say). I’m looking forward to make it my own, although right now there are a lot of boxes everywhere because I hoard a lot of things and have a lot of “material” hobbies, like crafting and figure collecting. At least it’s boxes, but I need to take the next step and actually organize the whole thing now, by finding the right furniture for my needs and the space (it’s a tiny room with a tiny, although deep, closet). I’m looking forward to make this space my own like you did, even if ADHD makes it hard to have motivation spurs that aren’t months apart.

🍵 your space is impressive and you don't have to worry too much about furniture. The more room you have, the more allowance you give yourself for self-expression. I really hope you enjoy every bit of living on your own. Every day's an adventure of finding new and creative ways to love yourself the most. I wish you ALL THE BEST!!!

I don't know how to make a tea emoji (because I'm old), but I did want to say I watched the full video and enjoyed it. I'm an ADHD brain as well, and have set up my home office somewhat similarly, and this gave me some ideas of things to keep improving on. One big difference between yours and mine is the office chair. Like you, I sit in weird positions and don't much care for standard office chairs. So I got a comfy bar stool, which is my main chair when I'm not standing, and I have an ottoman that I can pull over to the desk and sit on when I want to sit cross-legged. Great office, and thanks for sharing!

Probably late but scoot the lamp back an inch or 2 so the clamp is on the bar and use 3M for mounting the power strip vs velcro. More stable and doesn't wiggle around when plugging in & unplugging.

Good recommendation I have for the power strip mounting is to use 3M dual lock. It's like velcro on steroids and can hold up to 10lbs. This is what I use for mounting my effects pedals to my board when playing guitar but it would have great application here too.
