As a tip, if you haven't already, invest in a good air purifier for your basement when you're working with aerosol and chemicals so you don't breathe in the toxins while working on your projects if you can't work outside ☺️

An air purifier is not really going to help, they're for particles mostly (dust, pollen,etc) not fumes and chemicals. She needs a proper ventilation system. I worked with toxic fumes for my degree, it can be pretty dangerous,

When I made my pumpkin head I took a pumpkin pinata from Walmart, Tore off all the paper trimmings stuff that they had on top of it, and built upon it with craft foam and foam clay, sanded and painted it. It was very lightweight, and if you cut a big enough hole in the bottom it fits pretty well and looks about the right size for your head proportion, but you will have to pad it out on the inside a little bit with upholstery foam to get it to fit snug on your head in the right position you want.

As someone who lives way up north I feel Autumn starts in the middle of August. The weather has changed and the berries are ripe, and the leaves has started to shift colours. If you can't swim in the frigid waters anymore without your hands and feet going numb it is definitely Autumn.

Yea I was like "referencing OTGW to get a cute not creepy pumpkin head might have been a mistake" because they perfectly bridge that between. I think it looks great, could use improvement of course, but like, she doesn't specialize in this kind of crafting, so I think she hit a pretty good sweet spot. I wouldn't mind seeing an evolution of this character over the next few years.

My tortie cat also doesn’t really know her name. I started calling her ma’am too quickly after I adopted her. Like “what do you think you’re doing ma’am” “out of the sink ma’am” So Binx is not alone!

She's so cute! I love her! I think the reason why she seems creepy is because she's what I call a 'Double Sided Coin'. Depending on what you do in the costume, she's either the sweetest thing, or can be relatively creepy. Kind of like a mascot costume, disney or otherwise.
