@@kimtanguay6901 I think they had to use those big giant hair curlers for the Farrah type curls. They'd set it with hot rollers, not a perm. Definitely not a no-fuss hair style, but that's what Hollywood hair stylists are for.

Yep 73 yo old. Colored it then did the cut. I have natural wave and some curl. I turned hair upside down and applied some gel. Scrunched and air dry. It looks so much better. I had a medium cut that had grown out. I am buying some hair cutting scissors and next time will cut more off. I do have some bangs so I trimmed them. I sweep them over. My hair is out of my face now. It feels fuller. I have back issues and cannot dry or style my hair much. The scrunchies I do while I am sitting in a comfortable chair. I like it as much as my salon cuts. It looks better the day after I sleep on it. I have an old fashion hair pick that was my mother's. I lift it and style with that.

So brave, I could never!!! My hair is very much like yours. When I just blowed dried it was a frizz ball. So had to flat iron to get the frizz out. Then I discovered the wavy/ curly girl utube channels. Now I am able to leave it natural or ironed.

I tried the butterfly cut today. My hair is all gray, yeah I'm old. But my hair is falling out and I'm not happy. I have frizzy hair and when I blew it dry, it was still frizzy. Guess I'll try not rollers. Geez, it's not THAT nice on everyone and Mondo's Manny quin has LOTS OF HAir!! 😥

I gave myself the cut although I followed random person on TikTok and I missed cutting at angles instead of holding back section straight up. I like how mine turned out. It brought put a lot of natural waves with hair being lighter. You can never have too many layers as far as I’m concerned. I’m 60.

We have nearly the same type of hair. Diet-wise I just started eating a lot of fish especially salmon (omega 3s) most of the nutrients however are in under the akinand I'm seeing a huge difference in the moisture content of my hair and skin (11s softened.) Hair is growing longer fast. You could try suppliment s if you hate fish.

I have been letting my hair grow out the last two yrs and finally got it to almost middle of my back I went from a reverse mullet style to really long hair in 2yrs and I did this and I am in love with it such a cute style my hair feels so light not so heavy anymore so now I can just let it down no more ponytails or messy buns for awhile my hair needs a break from tht lol 😂 I believe I took about 5 inches off..im so glad, it feels so much better I recommend this if ur penny pinching for sure thts one reason why I did it

I just did it today on my curly hair and styled it like what girl do on youtube. I usually just scrunch with gel and go. But the definition that it has with the blow dryer with that piece attached is awesome! Plus the hair cut in layers looks great! I'm happy with how it looks and it's my daughters turn aince now I know it really comes out right.

It's a little scary to go in like a crazy person and chop off a bunch of your own hair...but Brad does say, you gotta cut off a lot to see any difference. This is hysterical. I just gave myself a Brad Mondo Butterfly cut last week. LOVE how it turned out. And I too had been growing my hair out because I wanted it long and lush. Not going to happen with this old gal with this super fine kind of crinkly hair. Actually my hair is exactly like your air dried hair. I put two of those foam rollers up high at my crown damp and leave over night while I sleep. I am a curly kind of gal but do not want to do the heated tools on it. HA who am I kidding I have no idea how to use them properly and do not even have them. Your hair looks great.

Sheri, I have naturally wavy/curly hair, but if I let it air dry, it is frizzy. However, I found this amazing product that gets rid of all the frizz. It's called L'ange Sorbet Botanical Smoothing Balm. I air dry all the time now. It's amazing stuff. To help with tangles, I use Amika's The Wizard Detangling Primer. I only use this for the fantastic fragrance. It's to die for. The best smelling stuff on the market is L'Oreal's Purple Conditioner (or shampoo). It smells like the best man's cologne ever. I'm not hair stylist, but my stylist uses The Wizard on my hair.

Suggestion: you have similar hair to mine. Try rinsing the final rinse, in distilled water. Our hard water made my hair look like yours. Just try it, Sher. I use a little less than a half gal,per wash. At 1:00 per wash, it is totally worth it. Getting a rain barrel for this next!

This is my first time watching one of your videos, and you had me laughing my ass off. This is what I plan to do when my hair needs a cut next. I worked with one hair stylist for nine month (I get quarterly haircuts), and no matter what I said, my hair never turned out the way I wanted. Then went to someone else and they barely cut my hair and it still looked like it needed a cut. Went to someone else's to fix it, and I still didn't get the result I wanted, but at least it looked like I got a haircut. I basically needed some debulking, and blending of the ends. So after binge watching tutorials on how to use texture shears, I fixed my hair. I'm much more happy with it now.
