Love it. Great idea. Believe or not I just cut off about 5" just this morning. Wish I had seen this 1st. Might try after I was my hair. Did wet what I cut but it was getting to long, harder to wash. Wanted all those ends off before I washed it I'll give it a go. Today's my birthday. I'm 66. I can't believe it but I refuse to grow up. So no dowdy clothes. Still love my jeans & long hair !

I had very long hair and was over it. Wednesday the 22nd I watched videos on cutting hair. I watched Justin hickox. Well I dove in and it’s harder than you think. I but about 5 inches off. I wanted to frame my face but messed it up. Not bad but I love it. It turned out great. You’re brave lol

Very pretty! If you have clippers on hand you can trim the ends with those and get an automatic "point cut" on the ends if you don't have hairdresser's scissors. I use my hub's clippers for that, it works well.

I have hypothyroidism too but my hair is thinner now luckily not falling out anymore ... I wash my hair weekly or biweekly but I condition my hair alot,I comb it out properly like 3 times a week because I don't want alot of breakage or hair loss However I have a type 3 curly hair so conditioning and oiling hair is more for me so that's what I do ... Well you can try and I hope I helped a bit by sharing what I do

You’re the only one I’ve seen do it as he said, with the front part down by your eyebrows. I just did it, and I get better layers pulling it down more to my brows.

Believe it or not You're still going to keep your length when you cut the back. The more you cut off the better the haircut is going to be. Because you're going to have longer layers. Also, if you want to keep even more length, what you can do is take a slice from almost the middle of your ear across the back of your head. The hair that falls just trim about an inch or two off. Then drop your hair and then take your parting around the top of your ears or a little below and then put that up in a high ponytail over direct it and cut it like Brad Mondo says. Thicker hair use clippers. Then point cut. I am telling you that little modification will make it look amazing! I promise you!

This cut looks great on hair that is mostly straight. But MOST hair cuts are designed for straight hair. We curlies have special needs.
