The Eliza house is great but it gave me an idea for a bob house. He finally snapped. She was berating him in the attic and he just snapped. He grabbed the first thing he saw and killed her. Poor baby iggy is down stairs crying. So Bob just locks the attack door and hides it. He cleans his hands and tries to move on with his life with his son. ....fuck it. I'm gonna build it. No one's going to see it. But I'm going to build it.

the storytelling people are able to do just by making sims houses is some of the coolest things. theyre not just static props, but if feels like actual lived in homes with people going through their own thing. i think that that is really cool!

I think the red and purple bedrooms in Daddy Vladdy’s house is supposed to be his and her’s “dressing rooms.” In the Victorian Era, and really into the 1920s and 30s depending on your social class, it was expected that even married couples would sleep in separate bedrooms. In reality most people didn’t, but you were supposed to keep up the appearance that you did. Even into the 50s and 60s, it was common for married couples to sleep in separate twin beds in their shared bedroom. Since they have all the same furnishings in different colors and a double sink bathroom right next to them, I would assume those rooms are probably original to the home, and if he once had a wife, she would sleep in the purple room and he would sleep in the red room (supposedly). Back then, people also used to get changed multiple times a day for every different meal and activity, and their clothes were so much more complicated that they needed lady’s maids and valets to help them get dressed, so even if they did sleep in the same bed, they would get dressed in their separate dressing rooms, which both had beds. The women and the men might get dressed together in the same dressing room, but men and women never changed together. Very historically accurate actually 😂 except that someone as wealthy as him, they would have also had their own bathrooms in each dressing room.

In one of my worlds, both Bob and Eliza are vampires. But Eliza now goes by Beth and is living her best bisexual vampire life, while Bob is permanently stuck in the sad clown outfit, and miserable, and trapped in the burnt shell of his old room, and I call him Bob Clowncakes, and it's awful :D Honestly I was just fucking around in CAS to see if the clown outfit actually made your sims sad, and Bob happened to be the victim. He probably deserves better. But now it's too funny to change, and I'm busy designing a funhouse for him to live in...

I remember playin the sims 2 and 3 and not giving two craps about the "canon" lore Fgg and another youtuber actually showed me "btw yes there IS little snip bits of lore". I always just made my own bc I thought that was the whole point for sims lol Edit: my theory to maybe why the lore is so toned down is maybe bc they either wanted to try something a little different to not get backlash of being repetitive/one trick pony OR (and most likely the reason) a lot of very loud Karens love to use "what about the children!"- so to avoid that they made things less dark so they could avoid absentee parents from complaining about the game and ultimately having to make the change anyway or shutting the game down entirely (thats happened to many other games and toy lines that were not even in the least harmful)
