Correct means you got the villager the same type of fruit they asked for, so if they asked for a perfect fruit, a cherry, or didn't have a specification and I give them a rotten cherry, they won't question it before eating it. Incorrect means you got the villager a different type of fruit than what they asked for. So if they ask for a pear/orange/apple/peach and you bring them a rotten cherry, they'll still eat it but they'll mention that it's the wrong fruit. Then after eating it they'll be even angrier because not only did you give them rotten fruit, but the wrong type as well.

I never knew there were rotten fruits lmao. I guess looks can be deceiving, it's like impostor cherries.
