Not a spoiler - In regards to the flashback you are talking about, you are correct that the demon slayer that almost killed Muzan, the same one in the flashback, is from the Sengoku period, over 300 years ago... therefore we can assume that the Tanjiro-looking person in the flashback was perhaps a great relative of Tanjiro, though not is dad, as Tanjiro's dad is named Tanjuro, and the flashback family member was Sumiyoshi. It's a little confusing, just keep in mind how old Muzan is, how old the upper moons are, and how long ago that original breath user is from

We also know that Sumiyoshi offered to learn whatever it is that Yoriichi tried to pass on, so even tho he can't utilise it himself, there might be someone down the line in his family that'll be able to use it.

Everyone is forgetting i guess the master is a very very smart man and he wouldnt put the demon who killed one of his own hashiras family members or friends with the actual hashiras to work together. Well they miss out in timelines...tamayo worked for 200 years in hiding and shinobus older sister would be 17 or 18 when she died ...do PPL forgot that🤷the fault of the reactors is that nobody focuses on timeline in demon slayer assuming and making theories in false information...I saw a lot of youtubers making assumptions the master is a demon until they saw S4 wth, we saw Kagaya under sun multiple times why do they make theories about Kagaya being a demon some dumb reactors still made theories about Kagaya being a collaborator of muzan and manipulating demon slayer corps, PPL tend to forget that our main trio has superhuman senses if any demon comes nearby the will notice right away..plus about the relation between tanjiros family tree some dumb idiots still thinks that yorichi is tanjiros dad ..not naming the youtubers ..I would say in that regard Michael Angelo(GOAT) and GOT games are best reactors of demon slayer

Note: In season 2, Tanjiro says that his family have always been charcoal makers, and there are no demon slayers in his family. He is telling the truth. If he is telling the truth about that, he cannot be blood-related to any of the former hashira/upper moons. He has no demon slayer ancestors. He is not the descendent of any of the demon slayers.

(No Spoiler ) -In the flashback it was not Tanjiro's father, because as mentioned in the same episode it was from the Sengoku period, which was over 300 years ago so it clearly tells you that person was either great great great grand father or someone from tanjiro's bloodline 300 years back.

that part in begining where you talk about seeing tamayo with muzan and first breather is 500 year ago.Flash back of s3 where first breather talks with "tanjiro dad " isn't true. It was still 500 years ago it was same place where tanjiro family lived and that man was tanjiro great great great...... father or smth. And yes Tamayo was close with muzan because he had all control over all demons, but when muzan fought first breahter he lost control and since then Tamayo has her own will and is hiding from muzan. What he said about that i don't think that spoils ay stuff we got to know that in S3 that yorichi lived in sengoku period and tanjiros dad wasn't demon slayer throughout the series we even got to know about yorichis relationship with kamado family in S3 it is not a spoiler,they are just making assumptions on false information but in reality they all got solved there but the muichiro and sun breathing relationship cuz yorichi said he didn't have any heirs...i would say all those PPL who say demon slayer is simple but those are the PPL who can't contain some simple informations .. it's not like AOT giving us some information at once that you can't contain... I'd say most of the reactors just react to demon slayer cuz their viewers want them to watch not them watching for themselves ..
