Thank you Ray for putting this up and sharing your experience in Cairo. I have always wanted to see the pyramids in person. Live life to the fullest.

Thanks theAdam! The pyramids and the town of Cairo is something I will never forget. It’s amazing how “trashy” the living situations are here and how intriguing it is at the same time.

@X-RING Just awesome!!! I Stayed at the Guardian Guest House when I went to Cairo and I believe that is almost next door to where you stayed and the rooftop views are simply divine! I also rode a camel...Michael Jackson was his name and his little baby camel followed us everywhere lol Going inside the Pyramid was amazing and like you say if you cross the palms with gold then doors will open ;) The Salah Al-Din Mosque was a jewel in the crown for sure and I loved every moment of being there. Tour guides will, as you say, make stops to try and get business to their local contacts and although they're making unscheduled stops they are still very hospitable and not too pushy. The Sphinx for me though had to be the best, my guide said that I was standing where some of the great names of history had stood...Rommel, Roman Cesar's, and the like...when put in that context to think you are standing in the same spot its like being transported in time. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sentiments exactly! As dirty as it was it was just part of the entire experience. I never felt unsafe or worried about my well being. They are good people just trying to survive. I will never forget the experience. Thanks for sharing your experiences as well and thank you for watching. 👍🏼

Thank you guys for sharing your trip. I didn't realize there were so many pyramids. I'd love to send some of our whiny entitied youths there to live some hardships that these people live everyday.

@@XRING I've been to somewhere in the neighborhood of 80-90 countries. That doesn't mean just stopping in the airport. It's an amazing thing to go explore and learn. So many people 'say' they want to do it, or 'dream about it' but relatively speaking so few actually DO much of anything.

That wasn’t even on the radar for this year. Good luck to everyone going. I’m sure Chris has a difficult course set up for you guys. The conditions in Maxton will test everyone’s wind reading ability to the max. The last time I shot a .22 match there I had to hold 5-8 mils of wind on just one stage alone. Plus it can be miserably hot there.
