For scoped rifle comps it is quite common.

Ray, did he indicate when their Precision Rifles, 308 WM & 338 LM will become available here? Also, do you happen to know the barrel length for both of those? Is the 308 24"? And what about the 338 LM (I will be very much interested in this one) 26" or 27" or 29" or 32"? Thanks.

I got a 6.5 Cr all black. I had my gunsmith mount a scope on it and then brought it home. The Bolt was not on the rifle. And the safety switch was on Red. I didn't know how to get the switch down to the locked position (white). I kept pressing on top and nothing was happening. Till I started watching your review and at 6:45 you pressed "forward" on the switch to get it to move. I put the video on pause, grabbed the rifle that is been sitting behind me in a case and pressed as hard as I could and what do you know, it worked. So, thank you for that. Your video review paid off. I had problem getting the bolt mounted since I brought it home from my gunsmith. First, there was a part of trigger that was in the vertical position blocking the bolt to be mounted. I was pushing it down with my finger to lock down but it wasn't. I emailed my gunsmith photos and he called me and said to use a screwdriver to push it further down to lock it in and it worked. Then I tried to mount it again, but it wasn't going in. I looked at it in detail and apparently there is a tiny, tiny button on the left hand side that you are supposed to press and hold and then press the bolt forward to fall in place and it did. But, it took like three days of research to solve three issues with the bolt. But, I tell you after mounting the bolt I tried it and it is totally awesome and as smooth as can be. I kept playing with it forward and backward and just brought smile to my face after getting it to work. I am planning to add two other calibers as soon as they become available. I bought mine from the folks at Gunzonedeals dot com. If you want the lowest price anywhere on a firearm, they are it. BTW, love your reviews, you get into the nitty gritty details that might be missed. Keep up the good work and thanks for solving my last problem :)

I know this is an old video and people's philosophies have changed over the years and we see more and more people moving towards a 23 to 25" build these days. I've noticed a pretty good velocity increase by going from 20.5" to a 24.5" barrel, about 30 FPS. Also regarding the weight from the 2 inches of additional barrel length, 6 oz might not appear to be much but it's right at the very tip of the barrel, to achieve the same balancing effect by adding weight to the most forward m-lok slot on the chassis, you'll need roughly 11 oz to achieve the same effect. In either case that's substantial.

I really like Arken scopes. I have sh-4 4-16x50 and it’s great for my .308. I will take your advice and get the EP5 for my Bergara HMR 6.5. I have an Arken EP8 coming for my Windham src .308. Sir this by far has got to be the best review I’ve seen on Arken scopes ! Thank you and I’ll keep watching your channel. Where are your training classes?

This would be a lot more interestiing if the moderator was also a spotter telling the shooter how to correct, and after the five shots he asket each shooter for his thinking on how he adjusted for each subsiquent shot.

Pretty substandard review method, honestly. You can't test a scope's tracking accuracy by firing rounds at a target, let alone when you never even leveled the reticle properly. The amount of variables introduced here is substantial.

At least make sure they all have their caps off and mags in before they lay down. First guy wasted 3p seconds having to mess around. 2nd guy had to mess around for 40 seconds. Last guys just had to charge the bolt and was ready to go. Half a minute to 3/4 of a minute of pressure added
