FYI: The Olina is using the same DD as the Tanchjim Oxygen. HBB wanted to give it the same tuning as the O2 but Tripowin said they could not do that. I think they were afraid of infringing on any copyrights of Tanchjim may have with the tuning of the Oxygen.

I couldn't agree with you more!!! Right now, this is the most frustrating iem I own. I've come the conclusion that the rise from 1k to 3k is just too steep. I find that my personal tolerance tops out at about +7dB max & the Olina is exhibiting a rise of about +12dB. There is also just too much energy from 2k to 6.5k for me. I'm in the process of playing around with cables & tips to see if I can't bring these areas down a bit. Not much success so far...... The Olina is way out of the range of BGGAR's self-professed preferred tuning. I took a chance figuring that he knew what he was doing but so far, it's a thumbs down for me. I am finding that I can deal with them as long as I keep the volume on the low side & use the narrow bore tips. Dynamics & stage depth are good. The best I can say is that at least he saved me from spending $270 on an Oxygen!

don't know if this is correct, but adding the filters supposedly boosts the bass below 60Hz, which might give it a more balanced feel.

Have you been burning the olina longer? They’re not, at least for me. I own both. T3+ has more energy in the mids but it lacks air and sparkle and its bass is quite 2 dimensional and lacks texture. The aria has a more relaxed sound but it has better bass texture and treble extension. Overall I use the T3+ for pop songs, the CRA for rock/metal, and the Aria for everything else. These new Olinas are tempting though. Still waiting for more reviews before I bite the bullet.
