Have been doing it the same way except for what comes after 0:24. Now will try this way! It looks very interesting.

That looks like a really strenuous workout. I am going to try this. (Although, i can't match the speed of the opening arm movements 😁 )

Unrehearsed sparring is far greater than these excercises. However, if a person can cultivate 'Chi,' or, develop a bit more muscle tone by doing those karate-type routines---so be it. Take what is useful, dis- gard the rest.

Yes sparring is great. Are you saying that exercises to support fitness, strength development, speed, etc., are not necessary?
