The very first song I heard Morissette sing is this song. Heard it over my brother's car and he'd been following this singer for 2 years. I said: wait, who's this singer??? The rest is history. Been listening to her daily for over 4 years now. At that point, I was just scratching the surface on Morissette's talent. I've never seen or heard anything like her! One has a band and does heavy metal, another one is a school principal, the other was just like me, rock. We were astonished how similar we are, hooked to this girl. You just heard our Queen Mori sing. This beautiful young Filipino is the best vocalist on the planet. Yes I have listened to Dimash who is also a magnificent artist but Mori can sing any genre and do them all magnificently. She performed this when she was only 21. Now at 26 she is as close to a perfect live performer as you could imagine. Her latest Gusto Lo my bumitaw performance is on another planet. Watch it with her band live. It will destroy your mind. Many singers are about 'pyrotechnics' but Morissette works from a very grounded place. As you dive deeper into her work you'll find that there is a wonderful actress. I believe that one of the things that separates Morissette from all other pop singers is her interpretive skills. She finds the character and the event of the song and connects deeply into the lyrics.

It was taken down from KZbin as it has surpassed views of the original singer Andra Day, a testament to Morissette’s beautiful version of the song. Please react to her latest original song “Power First Take”. It was composed by Kiko Salazar who also wrote “Akin Ka Na Lang”. Morissette’s voice has matured into even greater heights. One reactor even said that if this song was released 20 years ago, a time when women balladeers were very much appreciated, it would have been a worldwide hit. All the best.

Mori is a beast in singing and not just one of the best but best of the best. just remember being a household name in the mainstreams in most countries globally will take a lot of outside factors besides being a singing phenomenon. Moris should have been a global household name but... wish her the best and one day she will become. The Wish bus, where this was recorded, was a popular feature of the Wish 107.5 radio station here in the Philippines where they invite guest singers to sing live.
