Regine sounds 10x better when you hear her live in person. Her voice sounds fuller and even more powerful. Her voice is still on the brighter side, but not shrill sounding at all like you sometimes hear here. Her voice is truly breathtaking in person. I will never forget the very first time I heard her sing live. I was awestruck the whole time. She's truly one of the greatest.

Honestly the un-remastered version sounds better. There's an odd sharpness to this version. There are parts of her vocals you can't hear here particularly the fullness of her vocals when she does a Barbara song. You also can't hear the orchestra here, instead you hear some added crowd cheer. One of the things that make Regine great is her ability to equalize with the volume of the orchestra, not be under it or louder but on par. In the un-remastered version you could clearly hear the letter Y diphthong in the end but here it's almost like she said "Fla" at the end.

The composer of this song, the late Legendary Michel Legrand made this Music for the movie YENTYL starring Barbara Streisand, held a concert here in the Philippines on February 14, 2003, and sang this song with Regine. He was so impressed by her singing prowess. This video is a classic. It's too bad that the recording equipment then was analog. The video was not as advanced yet compared to today..
