You deserve a lot of respect for being honest and telling the truth about yourself and your career. This is the mentality everybody needs in their jobs. Hopefully you'll get more gametime, more videos and therefore more praise for your work. GKs mature later than other players, so I would say definitely don't give up. We won't give up on you. Also, shout out to your attitude towards other keepers, being a team player and understanding your place is great. You've learned a lot from it, and soon it will be your time to fly. Cheers from Brazil, take care and stay safe.

Very cool how you were able to train with USL/MLS teams while looking for your chance. I had a similar experience with a USL team in 2015 that let me train when they needed an extra keeper. Mostly I was an extra server too, but sometimes I’d work on rest days with the players who didn’t play in the last match. I learned so much that year from the coaches and the higher level players.

Great video, it’s nice hearing other goalkeepers experience. I remember trying so hard to find trials. I paid to be on a goalkeeper reality show and had to fly out to Vegas for tryouts, it was sort of a scam and you only got looked at for a few minutes and that was it. I was also very naive and got scammed by a guy who claimed to be a scout for Boca Juniors in Argentina. I was very excited and had to spend my own money on the flight. Needless to say, when I arrived in Buenos Aires the club had never heard of this guy and I was stranded there. I returned back to Canada and played in the CSL before it got desanctioned for match fixing.
