Good method with the tape job. If you heat the tape with a blow dryer it will get stickier. Not a fan of renfrew. A&R and Mueller get way more sticky in my experience. That’s beat about the tape not touching the head. My duel wobbles so much I started taping with the head off and banging it on over the tape.

Good looks with the blow dryer! A lot of people tape the throat plug on the duel to prevent head wobble, but a future video might include how to fix head wobble!

​@@Gklplus why don't you take rubber contact cement, and put it in a cup, and thin it with a touch of solvent, and very lightly brush it on the palm and fingers of the glove? Then you can keep the stick lighter without tape. And you can keep the lower smooth for cradling , and maybe just do tape near the top.

Personal preference really, but the further your left hand is down the shaft the more torque you can get on your head when battling!

It has to be right below the plastic of the head. The purpose of the tape is to show that your glove isn't touching the plastic of the head.
