I know that the rear camera has to have power, but I'm wondering how you did that so that a) the cables were not a nuisance and b) so that you didn't have to rip apart the entire vehicle to route them to a power source. Did you make a video about this? Was it difficult? Many thanks.

Super easy, I have to install and remove dash cams on almost a weekly basis. So what I do is I route the cables from the main dash camera over the mirror over the sun visor over the passenger side handlebars on the roof all the way to the back and plug them into the rear camera. So they're out of the way

@@dashcaminfo Actually, I managed to route the cable back to the rear hatch on my Honda CRV as you mentioned, and then removed the back molding on the rear hatch to get it routed properly. It was a bit of a pain in the keester, but looks great now that the work is done. Thanks for your reply.

@@brucewilliamsstudio4932 Well, your solution is more work intense, but definitely more elegant looking. Happy New Year

Hi I’ve just upgraded from previous model any tips ? Is it a straight swap over ? Is the rear cam the same ? Thank you.
@dashcaminfo5 ай бұрын
I don't think it was an issue with the rear cam, I think it was a firmware issue, that told the sensor how to react in certain situations. So an upgrade should be straight forward.

Is the mini screen always on or can it be turned off while still recording? and can the mini screen be used to access the camera settings or is it just for camera view only?

Just installed the rear camera upside down. Be good if the software fixed that.
@dashcaminfoАй бұрын
It actually does, you can flip it in the app

did the firmware update fix the overcompensation?
@dashcaminfoАй бұрын
To be honest I never tried. I had to uninstall it to review the next dash cam

For the price it looks decent, and may its because its bright, but don't really like that to read a license plate you have to be almost 10 feet or so away, it looks like any farther and its just blurred.

Grazie
@dashcaminfo4 ай бұрын
@mnn62564 ай бұрын
E condividere. Ho fatto altre prove ed è sempre così, solo a 1080 va normalmente

If you have a car that has WIFI this Dash Cam is useless because you cant connect both car and Dash Cam WIFI.
