Tbh I agree with the lack of poc styles, there’s like 9 compared to hundreds for straight hair, I hope more will be added eventually but it’s a good start. I appreciate the effort to add more from the team, but there’s definitely still a huge disparity between textured hair styles and straight hair styles.

Yeah plus it is kind of hard to navigate and control. I've been playing Luni's Gacha games since like Gacha Studio was still in its peak popularity so I get that there are drastic changes between each game, but straight up some things are placed in the wrong category, like shirt/hat logos and face accessories 3/4. Floatalendy's response to that review felt like it was bashing genuinely valid criticism. Plus it also felt like it was bashing when she said "do you actually listen to the announcements?" because not everyone is in the Discord server or is even aware of it. It just felt kind of rude when the reviewer might not have known about it, especially since they were giving valid criticisms

Hey Flotalendy! I do appreciate your videos a lot however I think the first review has a lot of valid points. The backgrounds, static and animated poses haven’t been released yet, so in order to make good content you’re going to have it ball it. Like unless you’re used to using green screens and making costume poses, a lot of storytelling gachatubers can’t do much. Also the new UI system for gacha life 2, while I have gotten used to it. I have friends find it overwhelming and just overall a bit much to handle. So it’s valid to find it difficult. Also your comment about POC hairstyles rubbed me the wrong way. Like yes we got more poc hair styles, but when you look at the ratio of straight hair to curly hair, it’s nowhere close in comparison. Not to mention that we could use more diversity types such as disabilities and body sizes. Ofc, this is my personal opinion, but I feel like you should take more consideration about your wording as well as the perspectives of others. Love your vids tho and take care!

Yeah, I love the game and it has some awesome, just a lot of bugs currently but if Luni says they’ll be fixed then in Luni we trust! :D I’ve currently seen an issue where my ocs will disappear, at the moment I’m just saving codes to the notes app but I hope Luni sees this problem and fixes it :3 If anyone could tell me when different updates should be done or where to find the announcements that would be awesome! :D

I do agree with the wolf & cat ears thing In Gacha Club, those same exact accessories were there however I did not like using them, because the black line separates the ears from the head and it just looks weird Overall, the game is wonderful even though it’s very difficult to navigate lol . The only problem I have is that I have this glitch that when I switch character slots, go out of the game and go back in it, what I see is that one of the characters I switched with is that it got copied and replaced the other character I switched with. This makes me unmotivated to make any more characters than I have in the main slots and I do not want to save every code of my character somewhere.

Try watching ads before leaving the game, that would prevent from deleting your ocs (also take screenshots and copy your ocs code if you are not sure) But yeah, i agree that it is an awful thing to happendd and i hope they fix it soon :((

(sorry for my english,its not my first language) Im not a hater,i actually really like the app and plan to make a mini movie once the studio gets updated. I really appreciate how the team is constantly working to make new updates,unlike the previous gacha games. But,regarding the first review, I do agree that the game lacks curly and POC hairstyles. Im glad the latest patch added some more dreads and other POC hairstyles,but there are still very few compared to the other hundreds of straight hair styles. Also, a lot of my characters have curly hair and i find that i can't accuretly make them in gacha,because it dosen't have a lot of hairstyles where you can actually see defined curls and not just the silouette of curly hair, i dont really know how go explain it. Even with all this,im having a lot of fun with the new assets and features,and im happy go see that the app is improving every update ^^

I honestly do hope that you guys add more backgrounds though- in all honesty it does make it harder to make stuff like series and movies with the lack of backgrounds; and even if there is an import background feature, its still hard to find good backgrounds that you can use that aren’t copyrighted, or that are free to use (with or without credit), and to make backgrounds yourself is also pretty hard.

The app is splendid I would give it a 3 star bc I hate it when I make a pose and then go one the other poses and the body adjustments resets😅😅😅. The eye out line was genius but the outline is a bit chunky even though I want to use it the outline should be cleaner and sharper😮. The things I like is that almost everything is movable and how other artists can improve on the game assets. I also like how luni is actually going to update the game more than twice. The things they could add can be how Gacha life had ship mode or when there was a Gacha shop in one of the games. I think it would also be nice to add a chat room where your friend can give you a code and you guys can talk together but this is one of the more unrealistic aspects. I think you should add options where you could add your own background since I’ve been looking forward to it for years but never got it. Literally no one is going to read this but I just wanna type it all out so I won’t think abt it anymore lol. 😊😊😊😊😊

Tbh I personally don't like GL 2 because I feel like it's going to ruin something that was already good, I think gacha has already hit its peak with Gacha Club, Gacha Life 2 just seems a bit extreme, and it's just my opinion. I also don't like how it's set up, because it's different from the more recent games before, and I shouldn't be expected to follow the discord (I literally can't have discord) for announcements. I think you were responding a bit....idk, but most of the things you said don't really mean anything. Everyone has the right to be upset about a game, it's why there's an option for reviews. That way the developer knows what to change/remove/add, or help other people know that they shouldn't get the app if they also don't like something. It's too complicated, I miss when it was just a fun chibi game where you can make characters, but with GL 2 I have to adjust so many thing to make other things look normal, it's just annoying, and I didn't have to do that with Gacha Club. 0:57 sorry but…that “patch” of POC hairstyles is *extremely* minimal. There’s Barely any curly front hairs, and absolutely NO coily ones, and the dreadlocks??? Hello?? 1 star reviews can be a bit funny sometimes But sometimes even when I have an issue in the game, I don't normally give it a 1 star, I only do if the game is boring or unplayable The only issue I have with GL2 is that whenever I swap the characters for a video, I come back to see 2 duplicates, which replaces a current character I have (And there is no copy button in the swap thing, so I'm confused)

I have a bug that i'd like to address has kept happening in my app. Whenever I make a new character at some point, when i come back to the game, there will end up being two copies of that character, and that copy is replacing one of my oldest characters. I always have to remake the old ones, and this has happened to me three times now. I don't know if any one else has experienced this, but if they have, please lmk! Edit: Also, i get so ticked off when people are literally UNGRATEFUL and say they hate the game. They say it's "too hard" to make characters. I think this also could have been people's reaction to gacha club three years ago, but if you hate on the game, how are you going to get used to it? It was hard for me too, but eventually i learned!

The criticism of there not being enough backgrounds and half of the features missing is actually very justified in my opinion. Promising to add these things in a "future update" is a pretty weak argument. The game should not have been released this early, luni should have definitely taken more time so that the promised features would actually be in the game on launch. This trend of video game companies releasing unfinished games and promising to fix them in an update is pretty annoying for most players and should not be encouraged. I will give props to luni for working hard to squash most of the bugs and its impressive he could make the game so fast but i definitely think it should have stayed in the oven a little longer for a more smooth and full launch, bgs are very important for gacha video making, if the custom bg import feature was there from launch then i wouldn't see any issue with there being a lack of bgs but as of the current version ever since launch it HAS been an issue/lh But the other reviews yeah they are rlly silly lol😭

I have one question about the game. First of all I love this game so much and it's literally my fav but what is bugging me is the object option , like in gacha club there used to be a object option but I can't found it here in gl2 maybe because it are not here (or I maybe just wasn't able to find it). So if it is actually not in gl2 rn , will it be in future update? No need to pressure urself!!! The team did a really good job on this app , I was just wondering haha

In my opinion, the gacha community is never happy with the apps... there's always something that they are not happy with...we should be grateful that Luni made a new app because he decided to create a new game even tough he said he wouldn't make an actualization anymore and focus on another project, but he still did it, not all games are perfect there's always something that will be missing but Luni is making his best to make the app as good as possible...we just have to be patient. sorry for my english

Hey, Uh... This Video Is Great And All, But... About The Checking Updates From Luni And Stuff... Um, A Lot Of People Who Download The Game Will Not Care. Like, There Are Some People Who Probably Encounter Gacha Life 2 For The First Time. And Unlike Fans Who Are Eager For Learning About Mechanics, Announcements And Updates, New Users Will Not. Because Playing A New Game Is Like That. They (Try To) Discover It On Their Own. Not To Mention That Not All People Who Use Gacha Life 2 Are Gonna Be GachaTubers, And Simply Treat It As An App To Make Cute And Cool Characters. So Not All Will Be Super Serious About Checking On announcements. Also The Positive Reviews With A 1 Star Might Just Be A Misclick And/Or Error. Also I Do Believe That There Aren't Many Eyes... Like, 900+ Assets Is Really Good And All... But Whenever I Look At The Eyes... I Wish There Were More 'Normal' Or Various Types Of Eyes. Also Confusion Isn't A New Thing When It Comes To Lunime Games, Or New Games That Have A Lot Of Stuff To Do In General. Like, I Still Remember That When Gacha Club First Came Out, Everyone Was Very Confused. Then Gradually It Made Sense As The Features And Its Uses Kept Getting Discovered.

There are some bugs/glitches that happened to me while playing gl2; The eye ball will disappear despite having it there, the 'home','studio'(ect) thingys will also disappear and idk how to het them back 😭 GL2 wont save some of my characters and so i have to remake them :( Those are the 1s i have so idk abou any1 else

The 1 star review is somewhat reasonable IF they don't read/watch or didn't even know that someone actively announces stuff regarding GL2 but if they do those reviews are so shallow.

Honestly, I do indeed really like Gacha Life 2 a lot, but I'm kind of sad that some of the hairstyles from GC didn't make it into GL2.

Hi flo I genuinely love gacha life 2 but I'm a creator who uses references of like anything and when I'm done with it I go in multi window and go watch some KZbin shorts but when I'm watching it and tap gacha life 2 my KZbin screen goes black this also happened with mods gacha club and gacha life I don't know if this is a problem with KZbin but if you can I would like y'all to fix it

Guys the app just came out. So pls be patient for upcoming updates. This app is still beta and not fully completed yet. The team is trying their best. Don't send death threats to them they are human too. Remember how Gacha club was confusing at first? But then we got used to it? Yeah. Gacha life 2 is new that's why it is a little bit confusing but we will get thru it I believe:).

When is the next update gonna come? If I remember correctly they said that they'll update by the end of November which is already December and there is still no news of the features getting added. I'm actually getting really impatient since I really want the pasting hex code feature to be added.
