This video shows a quick and simple way to set-up for glacier travel and stow the remainder of the rope. Perfect for glaciers of the Pacific Northwest with moderate crevasse sizes, small packs, and a melt-freeze snowpack.

Standard is that the leader is the one who has the most skill/knowledge on the ascent. On decent the weakest/least knowledgeable climber goes in front
