Test Panther only needs 1 GB, so if you open Andal with Rescue Rabbit/DAI you can Summon Andal from Deck -> Link Spider -> SS Andal from hand -> Test Panther. Nice video as always.

Really feel you should play more darius and atrix, they are great combo extenders and atrix's prisma effect works even on send of cost, it's a good card to special from hand with augustus, same as darius. The old GB link 2 is also a very powerful card when you see the fusion, as you can head into the GB link 2 with bestiari in GY, enter BP and use gyzarus to pop 2 in BP and then u have 4 tag outs to work with. Also, rabbit is way too scary in modern yugioh as a go 2nd deck. Test tiger is also needed to force responses/extend/make plays before BP. Playing a slumber engine/more handtraps/instant fusion is needed so you can force responses and give yourself enough freedom when you make your turn 2 boards.

The fact that they are so dependant on the battle phase is my biggest complain. Some of the cards can't even be played until you are in the battle phase. The only good cards are Test Panther and the themed monster reborn. The rest are meh or too situational Day 127 of waiting for new Volcanic support to arrive

Rabbit and Cat are too risky precisely for the Ash, but they have more options for start with Panther combo like Instant Fusion, Sky Striker token or other free summons monsters like Photon Thrasher, Zoodiac engine sounds good but it's pretty brick, Test Tiger is necessary but Vesapsiaus not much, definitely the support is good and the deck has potential for the future.

Unless you are running a bigger SS package with Jamming Wave/Afterburner I'd recommend One-Time Passcode. You don't have to worry about dead-drawing Engage after you've used your 1-of Hornet Drones.

Not playing rabbit because you are scared of ash is illogical. Many cards in the current meta lose to ash yet still see massive play because if they successfully resolve you are in a mich better position than before.

That's silly. You don't need Augustus clogging up your hand unless you just have that free Comeback. You get the same result out of just tutoring for the one of Augustus with Panther off ANY of the number +Level 5 monsters he has like the new level 7 and Nox which are just better defensive cards.

Monty2289 there are currently 3 lvl 5+ main deck Glad beasts worth talking about. Augustus, the lvl 5 and the lvl 7 (forgot their names). Augustus is lvl 8 and if summoned via a glad beast effect he can put another on from the hand on board, which also triggers their effects. The lvl 5 can special itself, if your board is empty and then it survives 1 attack and it foolishness 1 glad beast. The lvl 7 specials itself when a glad beast battles and then boosts it. There are 2 main reasons why I’d run Augustus at more than 1. Firstly there are only 2 glad beasts that are combo extenders on their own. He and the horse. If the horse revives something it has its effect negated, something that Augustus doesn’t do. And the other lvl 5+ also don’t extend your combos. This is specially important because outside the normal summon and now the new revival card glad beasts have trouble to get out of your hand. He helps with that. Also he is lvl 8 a great level if you want to xyz summon with say a used editor or even itself. This gives you access to hope harbinger, photon lord and other great cards that you can easily splash in. Maybe he bricks at 3 but running 2 of him is better than running more than 1 of the others who brick just as hard but don’t extend your plays.

Hearing people talk about rabbit like it isnt the best card in the deck is baffling. "iT LoSeS To ASh", yeah and so do so many other cards played in the current meta and the cards still see play because if those cards successfully resolve you are in a much better position then you were before. I get ash is a very commonly played handtrap, but not playing easily one of the best starters in the deck because of it is very illogical. And people are also just not building this deck very optimally. I play 6 cards in the main that protect rabbit from being handtrapped with the exception of gamma and imperm. And I play another 6 cards that allow me to continue to play if my rabbit is successfully handtrapped.

Not sure what you mean by this deck can't operate on 2019 standards of going first an putting out multiple negates or that it has to go 2nd to do it because in my testing that is just false. This new support actually makes several varied 2 and 3 card combos that put out 5-7 negations possible on turn 1 depending on the exact opening cards. But they are super variable so many card combinations in the deck make those plays happen

GKG honestly, I don’t care enough to think of a turn 1 combo for glad beasts of all things. But with how little thought I’ve put into these combos, that’s what I’ve figured out. If you have any combos that make better boards, by all means I’d love to hear them.

I've been running 1 of each handtrap, 2 Called, 2-3 Crossout, and 2 Impermanence as an anti-disruption package and it works perfectly so far but my build is also very different from yours (and seemingly everyone else's). Focuses more on GY setup/draw power with Sagittari and looping multiple Comebacks per turn with Equeste because none of them are OPT. I haven't even been using Augustus because I can get more plusses from discarding GBs in hand to draw 2 and then revive them from GY. I find most of these new cards work better with each other than they do with the old cards but nobody is even trying that. Test Tiger is a MUST, and Impermanence is really useful to protect your Rabbit/Tiger against on-field negates that Called can't stop. I'm honestly considering dropping the Rabbit engine/anti-handtrap package entirely though and just using more extenders (Instant Fusion, One-Time Passcode, Hasty Horse, Hornet Drones etc.) that are less susceptible. I'll see how it goes.

I think the problem is that it's a battle phase deck. That mechanic is underwhelming in today's game. There are much better decks that can play turn 1 and 2 better then GBs. It's a powercrept deck at this point. But the support is very nice

Try more extenders. I’m testing 3 Dai, the Sky Striker package and even Onslaught. Link Spider in the extra helps a lot too. I’ve also cut the main deck GB monster count as low as possible. 1 of each, 0 Noxious. Only 3-of being Andal. Drawing the 1-ofs are fine as Comeback unbricks the hand and Panther returns to deck. Instant Fusion is amazing too. It forces negation or removes a threat and provides a body for Panther. I’ve also cut Chariot. It’s searchable, but if you’re doing that your opponent knows it’s there and the effect isn’t outstanding enough. I prefer additional hand traps. Need at least 8 to draw (on average) at least 1 in 3 of 4 games played.

Ok list but alot should be different. Deck can absolute set up alot of negates going first. Rabbit plus rejection is 6 negates.

I agree from testing that Gladiator Beast now feels like a clear go first, set up negates deck. Could you elaborate a bit on your basic combos, so I can see if I'm designing/playing my build optimally? Currently for me, 2 Glads on board (by drawing 1 Dai, Rabbit, Linkspider, Test Tiger or Comeback) + 1 Atrix /Augustus in hand = Panther, Editor, Domitianus . 2 Glads on board + 1 Augustus in hand + 1 Atrix/Augustus in hand = Panther, Number 38, Domitianus . 3 Glads on board (by drawing 2 in certain combinations of Dai, Rabbit, Linkspider, Tiger, Comeback, or Rejection) = Panther, Editor, Domitianus . 3 Glads on board + 1 Atrix/Augustus in hand = Panther (or Decode Talker if you choose to play it), Number 38, Domitianus. Obviously with access to more Glads in hand/field, you can extend a bit further than these more practical hands, but I haven't set up more than Avramax, Double Domitianus and Number 38, so I'd love to know how to do the Rabbit/Rejection 6 negate combo.

@@abyssyahoo151 read carefully. I have said that they are TOO susceptible, not just susceptible. As you said almost every deck is susceptible to heandtraps but most of the meta can play trough 1 or 2 of them while non meta can't. Atm glad should be (IMO) given something to make it more resilient to interruptions.

Their playstyle revolves around tagging out, other decks can tank a handtrap but fall after two, Gladbeasts just fall if an ash resolves on them successfully. Now with 6 cards you can use to counter ash it's not as bad as before so I can see them being a good rogue deck.

1-2 copies of pot of desires? Maybe bump up unexpected die to 3? And if you’re designing the deck to go second, maybe raigeki? Maybe drop ash blossom to 2 and add a ghost ogre? A lot of potential. I would play 41-44 cards with 2 pot of desires. Or maybe even 1 pot of riches since it looks like you have a lot of space in the extra deck. Maybe even an exciton knight in the extra? 1 pot of desires and 1 pot of riches would be an interesting dynamic.

I would suggest Gamma as it protects you against Ash (Sauravis is decent but more of a side deck card) and I think I'd personally cut Twisters as well as minimise the GB names as they are effectively bricks, especially since you don't run Panther. I'd say Augustus and the new guy are the only ones running multiples of, although I do agree that Equeste is now worth running. I also think Dragasius is worth running as a 1-of just because of its Armades effect. Other than that, I think it's quite a good list; I really like the idea of Mind Control.

I think the sea serpent monster is very bad, because its a brick especially going first and 500 atk boost is basically nothing. I suggest playing two Darius and Augustus instead because they are very important for any fusion play. I play GB going first with three unexpected dai, three testiger, three of the reborn spell and hornet drones so you can always go for the link 2. I think you can afford to run three unexpected dai and rescue rabbit because you can easily shuffle andal back with the link 2, testtiger or the fusion spell. Link Spider is very good with andal, dai rescue rabbit and hornet drones aswell. A basic combo would be: -normal any GB/activate dai -special testiger/normal any GB -Link 2 search for reborn spell, a level 5 or higher GB (the one your missing) or one of the traps if you have both already -activate reborn spell get back any GB -effect link 2 special augustus from deck -special level 5 or higher from hand with augustus -make tamer editor, special the new fusion

I meant that I'm tiered of whenever any card that comes out it seems the first thing for people to do is yell out that it loses to ass blossom like that some kind of new crippling tech. All decks get knee capped by it, that's why all decks play it and most decks play called by the grave to counter it. This concept of Ash being OP isn't some new discovery.

you can set up a multiple negate board going 1st in multiple ways actually and it can be done with just summoner monk and a spell monk ditch spell ss rabbit ss two samnites monk+sam for panther panther search augustus/atrix use panther on other samnite to summon augustus use augustus ss the atrix/2nd augustus go into editor with the two then use editor ss andabata use editor and panther for decode in other zone use anda to ss gyzarus, gyzarus and anda for editor use editor to ss anda, editor+decode for appolousa use anda to ss gyzarus use them for editor then use editor to ss a herk/domaniatus my current build imgur.com/ttptjfm the maximum combo paths that can be achieved and can be done with 3 cards can create a board with appolousa with 3 negates+rank8+herk+dorm the decks strong points are it's consistency and the thunder dragon level boards you can crank out with the ability to run a lot of additional cards while being consistent and being able to combo off with only a couple of cards it's weakness is that it's a bit of a glass cannon and it's engine doesn't do a lot to counter established boards note if you're really having trouble with that you can run instant fusion/danger bigfoot to deal with monsters and thunderbird/a trickstar package to deal with backrow I just found the deck slightly more consistent without the trickstar package and I choose to go 1st to establish fields so bigfoot/thunderbird pose the risk of being -1's so depends if you feel the pro's out weigh the cons the extra is also pretty tight which was the main reason for instant fusions being cut but that may not be reason enough

@@adri8382 Even with this path way destroyed which makes me cry internally theirs still a few 3 card combos that can put 5 negations up if you start with a sky striker card, rabbit/monk/cat and atrix/augustus/comeback/rejection/proving groung you can make double gb fusion+appolo+editor

Man, youre on the right way... Every body scared of Hand traps... But they are not the problem. Glad can go first and second Well, i build Boards with the bow Goddes and Hera that ends in 6 negates only with two cards, if you play a little crusadia engine you can end in a 5 negate Board with 3 cards in hand that can be everything On the other side, going second... You can Spam Gyzarus multiple time, my Max was that i summon Gyzarus 6 Times in one turn, nuke the field and build setupt for next turn.... But you said it, no one think outside the Box :)....

Sure try out, you will See its a lot of fun:) if you draw a crusadia... Do the Normal GB combo that ends in panther, Tamer and Hera or domi and after that special summon the crusadia in the zone of the panther points to and build the complete Guardragon combo with abyss on Board, saruja draw and end With hieratic seal.... Overall needs the complete combo 7 spots from extra Deck.. The Rest ist flexible with Gyzarus and 2 more panther... You have 5 slots left

Lithium2300 i really the concept of the deck but it seems more like a for fun version. In my opinion the deck should me revisited withe current metadeck cards , because it’s almost impossible compete. I hope for a new competitive version of the deck , but don’t worry i will keep supporting you. You are a great content creator.
