Overall this list is way better than what you were playing before. Only things I would change is swapping the traps, mind control, and the new gb you're playing for 3 veiler, 3 instant fusion, and 1 equeste. Instant basically does what mind control does in this list and more. Going first you can summon millenium eyes and protect your rabbit from being handtrapped and then use it to make panther, and going second you can summon thousand eyes to get rid of threats. Equeste adding back comeback is a pretty good interaction. I really don't like traps in this deck just because they leave you with less cards in hand for herk, which is also the reason I run veiler over imperm. And just feel like another playset of handtraps helps the deck a little more going second. Other than that nice vid man.

I mean I get what you mean about the GBs seemingly ditching their gimmick but tbh they didn't go too much off the mark. 1. Test Panther does what Test monsters do, which is to tag out a GB. 2. The fusion card requires you to be in your BP which makes sense. 3. Domitianus despite being a negate lets you choose the attack targets of your opponent's monsters which lets you force them into other GBs to tag out. Granted idk if you watched Arc-V but Editor and Augustus both came from it and the duelist that used Editor basically did the same thing people do IRL now. The only thing I hate about GB now though is that their end board (in a viable competitive build) is pretty hateful towards interaction. Which i assume you're getting at.

I like how much more openly savage you are getting with your TCG opinions. Game’s bad, friends. In other news, I love the disintegration of flavor that occurred over the years. You know Test Tiger is supposed to be a test for the Gladiator Beasts, who if they win against and he dies (tributes himself) they get the reward of winning a battle and tagging out. It’s a counterpart to and pun off Test Ape, which is an ape that’s having tests done on it to transform it into a Gladiator Beast. Now Test Panther comes around, has the same tag effect as Tiger, but also randomly searches a glad card and is minus the flavorful drawback because it’s dumb to make power concessions when strong cards gud and compete with power creep.

@@vala32 I might call that good localization, if they created a pun that wasn't there before with the use of "Test" instead of "Slave." It's not exactly the fault of the localizers that konami continues to print busted legacy support that just upends how a deck used to play, though.

Why did it matter what you would hit in the Game 3, against orcust? It didn't matter which card you would hit, because in any scenario with his hand he would have ended with two monster and card to discard, or am I missing something? Good Video tho.

Go second, dark ruler, storm and even evenly are pretty good to fight the opponent board, also gyzarus is a power house, pop 2 and tag in 2 glad after attacking, meaning you can extend your combo very well. The battlephase is still very usefull in GB. Another thing, cross sheep with test tiger has a powerful interaction

My main issue is that, even though you can play all of these cards on the system, in the actual TCG, a LOT of these cards, including Test Panther, have not been released for play. Do you think that a Gladiator Beast deck can still be playable, without half of the new support that it's supposed to have

it is possible to get three negations with XYZ's with harbinger and get a pop with cipher blade with still haveing the boss monster and test panther still on the field or instead of cipher you can run lancelot to get a pop and a spell/trap negation

Hey love your content and love seeing a queer Yugituber! Would you consider maybe doing a Madolche ten minute testing with the new support in SAST and DANE? I've been playing a blind second version with kaijus and gamme plus others and it actually does pretty well against the meta like Sky Striker, Salamangreat, Thunder Dragon, and Orcust because of the new DANE monster that returns any GY cards as a quick effect and Queen Tiaramisu's non targeting shuffle effect

I think that you should run rescue cat too,3 more starters and 3 glad rota is not that needed but it's ok but you should run 3 that glad spell which returns 2 glads to draw which is fantastic Run 3 Prisma and 1 hero lives too with sky striker engine it gives you a lot of advantage Glads are now really good,there is a 3 card combo where you have heraklinos and dominantus which is really good Trap is really good, glad reborn should be ran at 2 cause it's searchable Too bad rejection is NOT a glad beast card ood Good vid as always

@@tylersmith5449 try the deck, deck from mbt is good ofc but it has 6 starters, 3 rabbit and 3 dai. You need more starters my deck summons heraklinos and dominantus first turn consistently. Going second is easy like always

I think his list needs work to but yours is full of bricks. I highly doubt you have consistant plays with 3 rescue rabbit and 3 rescue cat and 3 prisma and 3 samnite and 3 andal. You're joking right?

Obviously you're not to familiar with glad beasts. Just because its 2019 does not mean they wanna run a high monster count... as glad beasts have always been and will always be a low monster count deck. Seeing as how you want 9 starters + 3 andal, 3 samnite, 2-3 copies of augustas, and 2-3 copies of darius + 3 test tigers + some hand traps... sounds like a bad list to me xD. You're at around 25 monsters which is entirely too much. Then you need 3 proving ground, 3 reborn, 2-3 copies of the continuous spell, 3 called by the grave, 2 unexpected dai, a hero lives, rota... already have you at 40+ with no traps. I see a lot of hands with 2-3 starters when in reality you only want 1 starter and ways to make it pull through. Sorry but drawing rescue cat and rabbit in the same 1st hand seems incredibly bad. Going second with that kind of hand seems even worse. Again I highly doubt you make consistent plays like you claim too. Prisma is such an unnecessary addition. A lot of the cards you're suggesting just seem so redundant. Rescue cat and rabbit is overkill. Not to mention assuming you are playing anyone with half a brain they're gonna let you make your plain then just simply ash the test panther. Doesnt matter how many staters you have... if test panther doesnt resolve... your turn is done. Heres one of your redundant hands... Rescue Cat, Rescue Rabbit, Elemental HERO Prisma, A Hero Lives, Gladiator Beast Samnite. Can you make plays? YES! of course. Are you wasting a ton of hand space for redundant cards? YES! of course. Do most of the cards in that hand do the same fucking thing? You bet your sweet ass they do. 👍💩 go for it. Do you have fun.

Misconception. The Gladiator Beast archetype has always been total garbage. Even when GB was a top tier Deck the archetype was a failure. 100% of the Decks success relies on how stupidly broken Gyzrus is (as well as TCG exclusive Test Tiger to completely disregard the archetype/Deck's entire gimmick). Parking on 3K ATK multi-negate Heraklinos completed the broken Gyzarus play, but really just hitting with a Gyzarus or 2 is enough to auto-win any game determines by card advantage. All of this new support and the last few rounds of support for the archetype makes GB a solid top tier casual Deck with a lot of interesting options, but the only way GB sees success at a competitive level is through Gyzarus turbo spam and parking on multiple negates. Honestly, I don't see the Deck playing through the modern game's total denial of play Decks or surviving all of the OTKs.
