Yeah Gladiator is one of the many Superman knockoffs probably the most oblivious, his name is a Kallark being a combination supermans kryptonian and earth name Kal-EL and Clark kent

In the comics Black Tom Cassidy is Banshee's cousin, not brother, but the family mutant powers rule still applies. Black Tom is a mutant whose principal power was the ability to generate and discharge concussive blasts of force and heat through any wooden medium, hence the stick. He's the "black sheep" of the Cassidy family, ergo "Black" Tom.
