She has been doing this since she was a 4yrs old prodigy and won on the Ted Mack Amateur show . The show was decades ahead in doing this way before the Idiols and Star Search and other shows like it came along and here this little black child in very racist America winning on it. Yes she described how some treated her but said Mack was very kind to her. So by the time this performance was done she had decades of greatness,even though she was still very young late 20yr old.

Glady’s unlike so many stars around that time supported this then new show .
