I was literally gonna mention that fact...that wow...it is not a clickbait😳😳
@odear60873 жыл бұрын
@@CG-mj8tk clickbait is essentially misrepresentation or exaggeration of something. it is usually in reference to a title, but on youtube it can also encompass the thumbnail as well. specifically here, it could've been expected that this woman's video claiming to having a technique for applying mascara that is better than false lashes is *false* due to her either misrepresenting information (meaning she lied about it perhaps) or she over-exaggerated her results (meaning she is showing it, but it isn't as good as what you hoped). the person commenting is noting that this wasn't actually clickbait because she was truthful in her representation, and this technique is actually successful
@mareekeay86703 жыл бұрын
@@CG-mj8tk click bait is when the content in the clip has nothing to do with the headline. Example would be if the headline was about making your lashes longer but once the clip started playing it was about something entirely different.. Hope this helps.. 💙

For the ppl in the comments crying for not having long lashes like Smitha. I was a person w literally zero lashes, whereas my sister had fuller lashes as if she's using false lashes all day. Due to insecurities felt within my own home I started to look home remedies to increase the volume of lashes. I look for home remedies, bc I don't use much chemical products. I found that castor oil can help your lashes grow. So I brought a tiny bottle of castor oil and applied it overnight with an old mascara wand, and y'all won't believe the change. I literally have lashes like this. I'm no more insecure about lashes and I've never used false lashes after I started to use castor oil. You just have to apply for a month to see better results. It may cause itchiness in your eyes first, but you'll gradually cop up w that 🙌

I found this in my feed and I'm glad it did! You are the ONLY person who addresses the curl holding power of a waterproof mascara! I've always wondered why no one else has ever talked about that. It's exactly why I always wear waterproof mascara. Another excellent tip you gave is to use primer, especially a black one. It not only thickens your lashes, but it will be easier to remove your waterproof mascara if the primer is used before mascara. Thanks for a great video! I hope everyone who watches it will use all your great tips!

Girl YES!!!!! I'm 36 and I have been using these EXACT steps ever since i was about 15. I actually got the idea about heating my lash curler from a cosmopolitan magazine. GAME CHANGER. I have always used waterproof because that's what my mom used so that's what she taught me with and all i ever knew. I have tried non waterproof and hated the smudging and how my lashes would fall almost immediately even if I followed all the other steps in this routine. I will say the one drawback is that as I've gotten older, I hate the pain in the ass that removing waterproof mascara can be. Now instead of only using waterproof, I use loreal voluminous non waterproof then after I curl the second time, I put one coat of a waterproof on the tips of my lashes and it seems to work well and isn't as hard to remove at all.

Sorry I misspelled a couple of words in my previous post. I meant to say that another good trick is to use baking power (the kind you apply to seal or set your under eye concealer) and dust it lightly with a cotton ball over your lashes and then apply mascara. Use it at night and the next day your eye makeup looks great.

Learned this tip as a teen. Used to get loads of compliments on my lashes (back in the late 90s) before falsies were a thing.

I’ve always done this I will never go back it works 💯 nice to see someone else using same technique literally I thought it was just me that does this routine with lashes! No need for false ones 🙂
