Lilac/lavender was one of the first shades I ever used when I was a young teen and I still love it decades later. It does something magical for us dark eyed brunettes.

I get my eyes to look almost a hazel green tight lining with green shades too. I started this late high school when no one did it bc green wasn’t popular and was just a complimentary color for me. Now green is popular in make up. I bet it would look stunning on you too!

I remember in the 90s it was so hard to find good greens.... it was always those weird dark metallic greens available if any. I flipped out the one time I actually found a lime green one summer. 😂 Golds and teals are also great w/green eyes too.

@ yeah, I found a loose powder at a kiosk in the mall. I treasured that silly little pot bc there was nothing like it in general make up at the time. It made my eyes pop so beautifully with black liner. I’m not Indian, but I felt like a Bollywood star 🌟🤭

On the contrary, Its the black tightlining that makes everything pop. Try the same technique with green or blue eyeshadow but keep the black kajal eyeliner + tightlining etc., and youll have the same effect. 😂

How do you prevent the tight lines from running? I look like a raccoon by lunchtime and the liner disappears from where I put it. I use primer above and below my eyes, and use the Makeup Forever Aqua Resist liner for tight lining. Thanks!

perhaps its the camera but all I see is grey brown and shimmer and a muted rose colour in the crease. I was hoping for lilac and no shimmer which it looks like silver shimmer so in the end I dont see lilac at all, just observation but this was a fail IMO, even the pallet used was not really lilac colours.
