I ran to the store yesterday and bought it as soon as I could. I’m fair, cool and very pink toned so this one I think will very cohesive to my coloring, not that the Groundwork isn’t. I love that one too! You look beautiful! It is such a forgiving formula that literally works on everyone! I’m in my 50’s and this formula is very flattering. It’s my favorite formula ever.

As soon as I got the news about this new palette, I truly couldn’t wait for you to do a video on it, Chelsea. It is such a stunning beautiful palette, the shades look phenomenal, and it honestly has shades in it, that are not only perfect for Spring, but for any season too. And, I adore the fact that it truly is an “all over face” palette, not just an eyeshadow palette only. Which makes it a MAJOR WIN in every way for sure! I’ve hit pan on 2 of the velvet pomades in the original GW palette, and I’m hoping Danessa comes out with refills. I was debating to get this one, but I’m not much of a pink color kinda girl so I don’t think I’d have much use for it lol btw, the look you created is so pretty! 😍💕

I am so excited for this review! I literally ordered the original groundwork palette last week after seeing your thoughts on best neutral palettes. I haven't even received it yet, but already ordered this one too! I think it's amazing that you can pop them out and mix to create palettes with a blend of these! How awesome for travel as well. Mine is supposed to arrive today. Thank you for showing how it can be used. I have oily lids so will definitely use my eye primer. Crazy that folks would just think of it as a blush palette with all the videos to show it can be so much more; that’d be an expensive blush palette. 😉 And, yes bring Tasha back.

I got my palette today! Your ig reels you did on this made me get it, so beautiful. I did notice it took me longer to do my makeup, probably because of the bush type. Also, I was wondering if you had any suggestions on using as eyeliner? I used an angle brush but was still hard to work with the pomade, had to keep digging in it I felt. 💕

I use an eyeliner brush that has very short, dense hairs. It’s sold by Royal and Langnickel and it picks the product up well.

Yay glad you reviewed it. This palette is on the way. Do you know if DM will be coming out with refills? I'm hitting pan on some shades in the original groundwork palette and I don't have plans to buy another full palette. Ive been starting to lose some hope with brands (who have these magnetic options) that say they will provide refills but never offer them.

It’s the same thing with Viseart! Which is why you can’t rely on swatches alone. There’s plenty of products that swatch beautifully but are trash on application.

I think for me my biggest concern is will I actually use this palette cuz like I bought the hype of the Pat McGrath palette and I know what to use the eyeshadow and blush. And you know real artsy people can do other things but I'm a basic bih so I needed to work for my basic self right? Like so I'm not always going to do it eyeshadow look every day or if I do it's probably going to be one tone and then if I use up one of them little shadow pallets then what like I got to buy a whole new one. I think that's my biggest concern and that's why I never bought the neutral groundworks because there's not like an individual replacement. If I need to do that or I'd have to wait, use up everything else and then go buy a new one. Does that make sense? Also, I think I would need to see more with it even though I did love that you use it on your lips on your eyes. I've seen someone else use it as a contour so that was exciting but I don't really contour my nose. If anything I may be contour out my cheeks and I don't know that this would have the color for that. I am tempted to buy both at the sale and then try it out for a few days and if I need to return them but for your basic girl is it really worth it?

All great concerns! I would say this, if you’re interested enough to give it a try, then do that! Maybe try the neutral palette since I know you like more subtle looks because you could use the palette for color correction, foundation, concealer, contour/bronzer, eyeshadow, brows, and lips. I would suggest if you get either of these palettes, do so with the intention to try to use them in as many ways as you can. However, if you feel that’s not your style of makeup, then I wouldn’t coerce you to get the palettes. It’s not worth buying to only use 1 or 2 shades. Does that make sense?
