It’s easy to make fine hair look full with spray, etc. What’s hard is keeping it looking full for more than 15 minutes after you style it.

@redlady9352 жыл бұрын
I find dry shampoo the only thing that works as you need the grease for the dry shampoo to cling to and then it doubles the thickness of the hair strands. Is horrible though as means you cant wash your hair too much but if you can handle that it works

I really appreciate you choosing models that have very fine hair! I often see videos that use a model with fine to medium hair and then say that the styling is for very fine hair but ... from my experience it isn't really.
@annarose4772 жыл бұрын
Oh my god thank you so much. I avoid watching anything on hair tutorials even when they're on 'fine and thin' hair because the models always have WAY more hair than me. I just feel completely left out of the conversation and that nothing is going to look good for my hair. It honestly really really upsets me. I have no styling products because they never seem to work for me so I just give up. This model's hair looks like mine. This gives me hope that I can finally have nice hair!!
@silencestation5572 жыл бұрын
Oh yes, I'm exactly in the same boat! I've felt hopeless and even angry, looking the tips and tutorials for "fine and thin hair" where people with absolutely normal thick hair appear as models. I'd have no problems at all if I had hair like this, don't they know what the fine and thin hair really means?! In this video, I finally see someone with hair like me.
@dianarivers54082 жыл бұрын
THANK YOU for confirming I'm not wrong for washing my thin hair everyday in order to get fluffy hair. It looks terrible if I don't. I have more than one hair stylists roll their eyes at me and tell me I don't have to do that. I use a trick of hanging my head upside down when I dry it, then add curl right side up. I currently have a short bob that had been layered. I'm going to let that grow out and keep the blunt cut. What I really go bonkers about is when hairstylists head over with thinning shears! I practically jump out of the chair!
@carolweaver32692 жыл бұрын
I also use the upside-down trick. It does make a difference. I must "back-comb ( called Teasing in my day) and this is a big help too. But I use hairspray and then fluff it all up some, and it does stay just fine. Brushing the hair from the bottom to the top helps too. Always starting at the bottom and working up to the crown. I used to do it the opposite and think maybe others do it that way too, but just going in this opposite direction for some reason, makes it look fuller. It is very true how with the point cut * which is fine* but when they layer fine hair it can make it look thinner. But some must have that look so it seems? But if one can hair looks fuller if it is not layered. It has been hard, for me as I have thought this out over trial and error and just realize that often hairdressers love cutting and they can get carried away. Ties change and designs of styling changes. But right now this is how it seems it is going and works.
@nicopico55372 жыл бұрын
Yes, I blow dry my hair upside down too.. it gives it a lot volume.. I also have to wash my hair right before styling or it doesn’t do good at all.. my hair gets greasy and flat very fast … When I scrunch my hair I also blow dry it upside down as I’m scrunching… makes it very fluffy..

BTW, for EVERYONE who wants MORE hair and fuller hair (I've got fine hair!), make sure and take your VITAMINS! Just by taking BIOTIN (Up & Up brand at Target), VITAMIN D (5,000 IU's/Day, Up & Up from Target) and taking a CALCIUM/MAGNESIUM/ZINC tablet (Up & Up from Target), my hair is GROWING again! It also is getting MUCH fuller! Added VITAMIN E (Up & Up brand at Target) AND my aches and pains of getting older, seem to have VANISHED! Just passing this along as it ma help others. My hair looks better today, as a senior than it did when I was in my 20's!!! Thanks again for this channel! You help A LOT!

How often do you recommend washing thin fine hair, and what tips do you have on how to extend the style ( or do you recommend styling fresh daily?) how often can hair take hot tools. She basically ignores me and changes the subject each time. Would love some advice (and a video) on how to style my own hair using a mirror and working backwards. I have a question, I'm 55. Been thinning because of hormone issues. But, I've always had super fine thin hair. My problem is, when I have used volume shampoo or conditioner, it causes my hair to frizz. I failed to mention I have naturally messy( wavy,curly) hair. Just below my shoulders. Any longer, I'll lose more hair.. any shorter,, it looks horrible. I rarely use any products except for detanger. If I don't use it, I pull more hair out when I brush it. How do I keep my hair from getting frizzy while trying to make it look fuller? I do not have any grey yet. I only use a blow dryer to fluff up the hair in front. My very thin area. I only style my hair if I have a function that I wear make up. I do use powdered cover up for my very thin spot. Thank you for this video. I will try this method.
