Gabby as always you are so good at explaining things and spot on with what troubles us in our beauty routines. Literally, I have spent hundreds of dollars looking for just the right brow pen or application not only am I aging and so my brows are thinning, I have changed my hair color to match my personality, which is not quite gray yet, so I’m struggling with color and I’ve over plucked because I don’t like seeing the white hairs in there, I’m super lucky because I live around the corner from not only a Sephora but an Ulta so I can get all the products you highlight. Also before I started watching you and found you with Jason Hickock by the way, I didn’t realize the importance of the type of brush to use for each type of application. I love it when you show older models and how you have transformed them. One thing that you could show on the older models which would be helpful is how to navigate through the bleeding lines on the lips for the past few years I have been using, the Maybelline 24 hours stains and they work fabulously, but they do dry your lips. After time you cannot use a gloss without knowing how to stop the bleeding again I just think you are super beautiful and I enjoy watching you. I’m almost not even envious of how beautiful you are and how old I am lol.😂

I 100% get the eyebrow journey! I had no clue how much time and money I would one day spend on my brows! I think many of us get brow dismorphia and spend so much time on them to look a certain way, but then we overdo it. It's hard to stop when we think, "Just another line here, another there." I find your natural brows to be beautiful and not thin. Sure, if you want to add some gel to lift them, but you don't need much filling in as you and your brows already look beautiful! ❤
@GlamGirlGabi9 ай бұрын
Michelle, you nailed it. It's so true that we lose perspective really quickly when it comes to brows. In the attempt to get them more and more and more perfect, they start looking more and more and more like a stencil which is not flattering. I like this stroke technique because they're just softer but still very symmetrical.

You have perfect natural brows! I used to have nice brows, and I manage okay but my left brow…which used to be my favorite, it is a bit sparse now. I will try the brow freeze. Wish the Glossier pen cam in other shades, like an ash or cool brown. I use a lash serum, but it makes my existing hairs grow longer, I don’t get any density. Anyway, I trim the longer ones because they are not only long, but are stick straight. Do you recommend trimming your brows? Thanks for the tutorial!
@GlamGirlGabi9 ай бұрын
Try the color brown. It's not overly warm. The same pen in the NYX brand has a brown that is WAY TOO WARM (almost verging on reddish). I am wearing brown in this video and I don't find it red based at all. To answer your question - trimming your brows can definitely be a great for those with long unruly brow hairs.

I have been using the Anastasia brow freeze ever since it came out. I have tried others just to see, but I always come back. My brows are thin and I have a large scar right in the middle of the left brow. It created a large bare area. Brow freeze helps hold the hairs I do have in place and makes it much easier to draw in hair to fill the gap. Nothing works better than brow freeze. Highly recommend.

For liner, I just used an inexpensive black liner but I added some dark brown shadow to it to soften out the line so it was less harsh. Easy peasy makeup look.

These are great tips! I have holes in my brows from over plucking in the ‘90s 😏 I’m going to order the brow gel and glossier definer….. let’s see what happens! 😊

My eyebrows are thin lol. Yours are thick. Mine are 90’s thin. I don’t have many eyebrow hairs lol!

I have almost completely stooped plucking them because they were also 90s thin. I pluck a little in the middle now and that's it. I have had SUCH a hard time getting my brows to look how I want them to look though.

Brow lamination is the solution you're seeking as long as the esthetician does it properly. I've had mine done (natural redhead) and it is a game changer. I always thought my right brow was lower than my left. I'd try to fill in my right brow at the top... Turns out the hairs grow horizontal on my right brow and more of an upward angle on the left. The brow lamination fixed that and it lasts about 8 weeks!

I’m so traumatized because I’ve had it go wrong several times. 😬

I have that glossier but I went with Urban Decay 1 side is a pencil + 2. Has a pen to flick in color. I have tried channel blond pencil + a brow wax from Seint but I go back to Jones Road pencil or Channel water proof pencil. I have also tried Maybelline blonde pencil + Loreal brow pencil but I go back to Urban Decay in blonde or the Channel Pencil. Glossier went dry in myself quickly. Thank You Can’t wait to hear from you. Julie ❤️🐾🐾

Today I just did brow powder and a gel, but I STILL had to go in with a brow pencil and fill in the blanks. I look forward to trying your new-found method. ❤

Yes that is a good way to do it too especially if you like a more shaded look. I just love it when it looks like hairs and not like shading but that is completely a personal preference thing on my own face.

As I'm getting older, my brow hairs are getting thinner especially in the tails and I'm getting white hairs as well. I've been using the Maybelline Tattoo Studio Brow up. I will try this combination of the Anastasia brow gel and the Glossier Brow Flick.

Yes! Try it out and see if it works for you! It takes a little patience to get it right so don’t give up the first time. Light pressure and small brush strokes is what creates this fluffy natural effect. You got this.
