My favourite part of getting older is being able to enjoy my kids as children and not as babies. I am loving being able to watch movies with them, play boardgames, have video game nights and everything else that was not possible to do with them when they were really little. Watching them grow into little unique humans has been incredibly rewarding for me. What's your favourite part of getting older?

Hi Gabi, my favourite part of getting older (I’m almost 62 ) is caring less what other people think. Unless they are my family friends and loved ones, I don’t worry. I love wearing colour and still care for skin care, hair and make up. Ive used the current body face mask for the past year and can really see a difference. I love your channel 😘🇬🇧

Janette I love that answer! I am getting close to 40 now and I have just started that phase of not caring whatsoever what other people think (those that aren't close to me of course). It is so refreshing! I love that you have tried the Currentbody mask too. Did you notice results right away? I'm telling you, within a couple of weeks my skin already looks significantly better. I found for me it improved my skin texture the most out of anything else since I don't have deep set wrinkles yet. I'm going away on vacation next week and I honestly think I am going to bring it with me LOL. #highmaintenance

It is not the age, but the wrong teaching parents practice on their kids, plus the society that stimulates wrong models. It takes half of your life to realize the lies, if one survives. Instead of being "glad", you should be mad you wasted most of your life... wondering who you really are...

My favorite part about getting older - I'm 50 - is the confidence I feel now. I was always afraid and insecure when I was younger....and a year or so ago I told my mom I felt like I could do anything. Like nothing felt too hard or intimidating, I just believed I could accomplish anything I wanted to. It was so liberating! I still mess up and I don't master 100% of everything, of course, but I believe in myself and messing up no longer gets me down.

They are the most beautiful, precious young adults who are so good, moral and extremely kind. When I say beautiful I’m not talking the exterior it’s who they are as people. I was fortunate and chose to be a stay at home mom. I definitely for me made the right decision especially seeing all that I poured into them blossoming. That’s my favorite part of getting older. Not just loving my kids but really liking them as people.I would want them in my life if they weren’t mine. That’s huge. Enjoy your babies because it goes so fast. I can tell your a wonderful wonderful mom. Getting older is not always pretty but such a blessing. Have a beautiful day! ❤ sorry so if this was too long 😊

Wonderful info Gabi, you always make me smile and leave me inspired! The best part of getting older...I need to think about this to be honest. At almost 71, and having been in the beauty industry the majority of that time, aging isn't necessarily looked upon in our society as a positive, and to be honest, it's hard for me to fully embrace. If we were accepting of the many wonderful aspects of the aging process, things such as extreme and multiple cosmetic surgical procedures, fad diets, over the top hair extensions, unattainable makeup product promises, just to name a few, wouldn't hold the place of prominence in our culture that it does. We revere a youthful appearance at all costs and disdain the concept of wrinkles, natural hair color (this is coming from a stylist and former salon owner. LOL) and any physical signs of aging. So what do I like the most? If there is anything, it gives me an opportunity for personal growth in the Lord as I seek His help in trying to embrace the fact that "I am fearfully and wonderfully made", and to help other women face their aging with positivity. Aging doesn't have to signify the end of our story! I believe that God ultimately put all this in play, and I need His help to walk it out. That being said, I I still plan to knock Eve out when I get to heaven and I'm not in love with apples! LOL. Finding the balance in walking the line between being the best I can be at any age, and being over the top obsessive with my looks can be a thin line to walk for sure and I find that daily I have to navigate it, and not always successfully. I just put one stiletto in front of the other..Just kidding, that ship has already sailed! TY Gabi for an excellent channel! 😘Roberta

Well.......I married a younger man. Being 19 years senior has made me realize a lot of things. At first, I worried about the aging, the wrinkles, the opinions of others. But I soon realized that if I continued down this road I was going to sabotage my own happiness. Instead, I decided to embrace my age and the wisdom I have gained throughout the years. I have read that a positive attitude projects confidence and that men who are drawn to older women really appreciate the fact that we are confident in our own skin. I also started working out to keep up with him, which I probably wouldn't have done on my own. So my health is benefiting as well. So.....don't ever give up and throw in the towel. Put yourself and your happiness first and foremost in your life. The first 60 years, my purpose, my goal was to raise my family. I put everyone else first, and did it happily. But the remaining years that I have left are for priority "me".

I'm only 30 so still relatively young but honestly i would never go back to being 21. I was inexperienced, suffering, no boundaries, used by people, all because I had no idea how to deal with the world at that time. Now I say "no" if my gut tells me so, I'm not as insecure or give a fuck if someone on the street judges me because I wear short pants or a crop top, I know what most things in life fit to me personally compared to younger me who was desperately tried to fit in everything and so on. Honestly this is the best thing about getting older and more women honestly should be aware of this. Being 18 or 21 is not supposed to be the only peak of your life!!!

Honestly, I think with age comes wisdom. We have been there finally and understand life much better when we're older. There is so much I wish I could have told my teenage self. I am not as trusting of people as I have been very harassed, used, and raped throughout my life as a child and in my adult years! I'm happy I have a husband who protects me from men thinking I am their property! So, Age should never be something we're ashamed of! We should celebrate 🍾 ✨️ and be proud that we have been through whatever life experiences because we are strong champions!! I think beauty is much more than physical! It's a spiritual connection and every part of who we are from the inside/out! I Absolutely Love your channel and your advice! You're SO real & that is truly beautiful to me! xx ❤️

You should look into a hyaluronic acid serum as well. It's a game changing skincare ingredient that boosts the effectiveness of the retinol and all other skincare. It also makes all make-up go on smoother.

The Current Body Mask has been amazing. I use the the Dec and Neck mask as well. I’ve used it for over a year and my neck improvement has been just remarkable. I had someone I hadn’t seen for over a year tell me that I looked 20 years younger. Obviously, the comment was an exaggeration, but I believe it works. I also us SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic and prescription .05 Tretinoin daily.

I'm 52, the favorite part for me is that younger people in my country speak to me very respectfully in stores, when i do business, when i eat out etc and I love that! I never got that when I was younger.

I love these tips!! ❤ You’re getting me so tempted to buy the LED mask! The only reason I haven’t gotten one yet was because I saw a video by Alexandra Anele and she said hers gave her a little growth under her eye? That spooked me! Have you heard of this before?

There is NO favorite part of getting older for me, Gabi..I'm being honest. I miss my premenopause body (Size 5, 105 lbs), not having 100% white hair and getting attention from men. Now, I'm invisible and aging without a loving partner. What's to love? Just being alive after 7+ decades, I guess. Rosemarie 💖

Dear Rosemarie. I know you haven't asked for advice, but your comment tugged at my heart, and I got an intuitive hit, that negative self talk is burdening you. I'm not denying that we live in a culture that encourages men to pay attention to women that look younger--it's a patriarchy, and that BS comes with the territory--but I believe and I've seen it a lot over the years that nothing is more attractive than a positive, self-loving woman, doesn't matter your body shape or hair color or wrinkles, if you are in love with your self, and you give that love to yourself through self care (not just beauty, but healthy life choices, and doing things that make your spirit sing), you will glow with that self love and THAT is what will attract people to you, men and women. Hope that helps! 7+ decades! You deserve loving company, in whatever form you desire. Visualize it happening, ask for it, then--trusting it will come to you--let it go and go give yourself LOTS of love!

And of course she thinks aging isn’t a problem- I wouldn’t either if I aged as beautifully as her 😟

I feel you!! I’m 42 and I’m pretty sure I’m destined to be alone. I can feel how much I’ve aged just over the last ten years. I don’t look forward to the future. It doesn’t look appealing. Since having covid in 2021 I’m out of breath constantly. So what do I have to look forward to in another ten years?

Great video! I’m reasonably new to your channel and madly binging your back catalogue ❤ I have had the sleep and glow pillow for two years and it is a game changer!! It is the best skin purchase of my life. What do $300 creams do if you have you face mushed into a pillow for 8 hours every night!!!
