Many thanks for this video. I have been wanting to sport a back combing hairstyle for some time. I intend to try this out tonight. I just wish that you had shown us a couple examples of finished hairstyles using this technique. I appreciate you showing us how to undo the back combing safetly as that has been one of my concerns.

You are the first and only person who breaks down and offers the most critical components of the technique, and I just back combed a very cute poof for my ponytail that didn't flop down limp. Another way to take the tease out of your hair is to put your fingers in at the root and just shake it back and forth, not trying to comb it out with your finger. Lilith Moon has a tutorial on how to un-tease hair. I recommend checking it out. :)

assuming that "correct" means it won't cause damage, i'm pretty sure the only correct way to do it is to just not backcomb. this might not be as damaging as if you did it with no rhyme or reason, but i guarantee that it is still damaging to the hair stalks

bhinda khan it's pretty difficult to get your old hair colour back after dying it. Trust me, I tried.

i know but i try to get a color as near to as possible...but if you are blonde you must up keep your roots regular other wise it does tend to look tacky believe me i know lol and if your hair is long its almost impossible to grow it out best get a nice color near as you can to your own color and try to get it to blend in x
